Dakota came to live with us when an acquaintance bought her at a pet store and the dog she had at home didn't accept her. Denali and Savannah both came to me from Husky House rescue.
Pet likes:
They love to go to the dog run and they love treats. They love bones from their BARF diet. They love to be pet and cuddled - they think they are are dogs! They love to watch the Dog Whisperer on TV.
Pet dislikes:
They hate being brushed, which is a huge problem when you are a husky! Savannah hates loud noises. They hate being sprayed with a hose.
Pet’s favorite spot:
At night they all sleep in my bed - during the day they like the couch.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Denali likes a stuffed hedgehog and Savannah likes her Good Cuz. Dakota is 10 now and doesn't really care too much about toys anymore.
Pet’s silliest habit:
At night Savannah sleeps next to me and throughout the night she crawls closer and closer to my head until I wake up with her laying across the top of my pillow.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When I watch TV, Dakota likes to snuggle next to me and lay her head on my lap. Savannah gets so excited when I come home from work and Denali always knows when I need a hug and will press his head against me.
I crack up when my pet:
Denali and Savannah have big time sibling rivalry going on and they fight over the same toys, usually by having a tug of war. It's so cute!
My pet is unique because:
Sometimes I just look at them while they're sleeping and they just make me happy!

Hi, I signed the petition "maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy." I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Here are the basics of the case:
Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven month old fox terrier puppy near Mackay at the weekend.
If found guilty, they could face up to two years in prison. Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone which shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it hacked to pieces with garden shears and a pocked knife.
They said the owners were too distressed to talk to anyone about it.
The pups nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured.
The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four month jail term.
WE BELIEVE THESE MEN SHOULD RECIEVE THE MAXIMUN PENALTY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THIS SADISTIC, DISGUSTING ACT.
