Proud pet parent of:

A mini zoo! lol I have a 3month old pit bull mix puppy Rusty (my child).A black kitten named Onyx. A 6-7 month old bearded dragon- Joanna, 4 female rabbits- Sable, Shadow, Cinnamon, and Zuri. 2 fish tanks, one full of African Cichlids and random Cichlids, and the other goldfish. And recent mother to a murdered German Shepherd Collie mix puppy-Diesel R.I.P. my baby. We have a new member of the family. His name is Koda and he is a Border Collie mix. Got him for free, saw a flyer at Petco and had to have him.

How we met:

Just randomly. Diesel, my first baby, I rescued from the local humane society. Rusty I rescued from a lady who thought she wanted a puppy and decided she didn't want him anymore and was going to dump him in the country. He was still bottle feeding when I got him. The rabbits just came over the years as well as the fish. Joanna was my best souvenir from my trip to St. Louis. And Onyx my most recent I found out back of the pet shop I work at. I think someone just left him. He was healthy and the sweetest little thing ever. He just came right up to me and never leaves. Even if he goes outside, he always comes back to me.

Pet likes:

Rusty LOVES squeaky toys! Diesel was afraid of them lol. Rusty also loves apples and trying to eat Onyx (just playin with him)

Pet dislikes:

Being alone! I have never locked him up since I've had him. But recently I have had to due to my change in work. He absolutely hates it!

Pet’s favorite spot:

Mamaw's house, or with mommy and daddy.

Pet’s favorite toy:

Cow-Soft squeaky cow toy, he goes everywhere. Started out as the only thing small and soft enough for him to play with, now they are inseparable.

Pet’s silliest habit:

Everything...he is so silly all the time.

Pet’s sweetest moments:

I have a picture of when Rusty was about a month or two old in the back seat with Diesel-8 months. They are laying in my backseat and Rusty is curled up with Diesel and Diesel is resting his head on him like hes holding him. It's too precious.

I crack up when my pet:

Hasn't seen me in awhile. He acts like I've been gone for years. He gets so excited.

My pet is unique because:

They just are. Every animal is unique in their own way. Rusty is definitely very strong. He was taken away at a very young age, living on a porch eating cream til I got him, and he made a quick and healthy recovery.
