How we met:

I bought Jewels from a friend that had a new liter. Magnus is the offspring of my other dog, Jasmine, that is no longer with us and we bought Maggie May at our Ducks Unlimited banquet.

Pet likes:

Scratching their hiney, belly rubs, swimming in the river, playing fetch and Maggie and Jewels like to go hunting with Dad.

Pet dislikes:

Our postal carrier, the UPS driver, our neighbors (which none of us like) and when we're gone for very long.

Pet’s favorite spot:

Magnus and Jewels like to lay in the sun while Maggie is indoors and likes to lay in her own special chair.

Pet’s favorite toy:

Kong Toys!! They are the only toys that last for very long with my labs!!

Pet’s silliest habit:

Maggie likes to chase our red pointer light. Just when she thinks she has it under her paws, I shine it out just past her. She thinks it's a bug, but she'll do that forever :) Magnus likes to roll around in the freshly cut grass and Jewels likes to lick anyone or any of the other dogs all the time!

Pet’s sweetest moments:

When Jewels became Magnus' surrogate mother after we lost his mom, Jasmine. You would never know he's not hers. Maggie is adorable when she's curled up on the couch cuddled up with my daughter and they both have fallen asleep.

I crack up when my pet:

When Maggie barks so ferociously at our postal carrier, but she's really a big baby. If the postal lady were to come inside, Maggie would run and hide...then slowly make her way over and want rubbed. When Magnus and Jewels are 'talking' to each other while they're playing! It's hysterical!

My pet is unique because:

They all are beautiful and I've had all of them since they were pups, plus I helped deliver Magnus. Birth is such a beautiful thing. My dogs are very loyal and protective of my kids. They are very loving and cuddly.
