Delilah, 2, a black Pit/Lab mix (West Suburban Humane Society Downers Grove, Il.)
Leonard 'Lenny' Skeonard, 3, a Chihauhau (rescued from a neglectful home)
Gabriella 'Gabby' Love Peach, 9, a black shorthair (Cat Guardians Lombard, Il.)
Amelia, 7 weeks, orange classic tabby (rescued before taken to be PTS)
How we met:
Delilah was picked from the 'line up' at 3 months old.
Lenny took about 6 months to accept us as his family.
Gabby was chosen (and named) by my daughter at age 3
Amelia was passed to me in a washcloth on a busy street
Pet likes:
Delilah LOVES dog parks, chasing birds and bunnies(hasnt done any of this for months because of knee), people, and learning new things
Lenny likes to bark, wrestle, play tug-o-war
Gabby likes to stay away from the dogs
Amelia loves Delilah! I think she has made D her mommy!
Pet dislikes:
I am so glad I can change her dislikes! Now, pretty much the only thing she dislikes is if Lenny walks near her bone. She's still learning it goes on the microwave if she growls.
Lenny dislikes having cage door closed.
Gabby dislikes that she is not the only pet.
Pet’s favorite spot:
Dog park, my bed, lap
Pet’s favorite toy:
DNA(she knows the name)--got it at Petco, it's a 3 colored rubber double helix and laser light
Lenny--squeakers
Gabby is too cool to play.
Amelia--laser light
Pet’s silliest habit:
Lenny snorts/hyperventilates when his Daddy comes home.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
Just watching her trust in me, the whole family, grow over these 2 years. Stop reading now if you get grossed out easily. Anyone whose dog has tried to poop out your hair and they run right to you because they know your going to pull the damn thing out. That's trust. That's love.
I crack up when my pet:
Jumps/twists in the air to try to bite bees. I was scared when she started it and I definately try to distract her. Unfortunately, this is something she's going to have to learn on her own.
Lenny--when I try to give him venison jerky he wont eat it, he rubs his neck on it just like he does with goose poop!
My pet is unique because:
What animal isn't unique? She's unique because she's Delilah, Delilah Jones, Deli, Lila, Didi, Double D...
Amelia is a female orange tabby.

Delilah, Nathan is correct.. you should read the posts. I had already spoken to a couple of the other people involved in it, but when there are complaints and I'm asked to step in... I tried to be fair and give him a chance by asking him to settle down.. he got a bit too cocky and only made it worse for himself - we don't do name calling there. Ya know.. who needs that? Too bad he's not liking that, but as you can see, I gave him opportunity to do the right thing.. he chose not to.
There have been other posters there who have posted their links and they have been asked not to do that. I was fair and treated him no differently than others have been treated in the past. Had he not began the arguing with the others.. he probably would have been able to stay, but he didn't. When he posted his link, I checked it out.. I can understand why there was a furor. I didn't want to see that garbage start on the Lounge - he's already caused enough of that in the Forum. All Nathan has to do is behave himself and as we have for others, he can have a chance to come back in the lounge. Not sure why he doesn't open his own group, but he's not going to use the Lounge to create fights and arguments... like I said, we have enough of that to go around in the Forum.
And in the end.. it's a private group - while fairness is the goal.. it is up to the discretion of the group moderators in the end. The lounge is a place where people can come and not get a bunch of crap hurled at them.. I'd like to see it stay that way.
As for this subject, it's closed and Nathan knows what he needs to do if he wants back in. Until then, he is not going to ride roughshod over the Lounge with his rhetoric.

Those people are crazy in the lounge.
"Delilah, it wasn't his ideas - it was behavior and this is a private group with some latitude about what is acceptable. The opening statement of this room asks to be respectful and be nice. I hope this explains it and if you have any further questions, feel free to PM me."
My behavior...they make up accusations and it's crazy. Just go down the comment line and you'll see. All I did was post a link to my facebook fan page to invite people to check it out. And then I was attacked with negativity and false assumptions.
Can you believe they have the nerve to say it was my attitude.
Just read all the previous comments and you'll see the truth.
These people are bullies......
Becareful.

Yeah I liked that Vaccine link so I put it up on my infoblog. Thanks for sharing. Alex Jones of INFOWARS.com did a post on it a few months back.
Thanks again!

I listed a few holistic vets that practice near you on that discussion about veterinary care. Not sure any of them will work for you, but they have great practices and you are lucky to live in the area you do.. lots of choices. I've listed four. They are all American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association Members - AHVMA.
I never had such experiences! I don't kill easily a fly, but an animal! I hate hunters and this sport! It is another kind of abusing animals! Who love animals, pets, can't kill another animal; at least I guess!!!!
These pictures make me sick! It is disgusting! Animals are killing for surviving, people are killing for pleasure! This kind of people should be isolated far away from true humans and animals!
