- 4 wonderful dogs and 3 great kitties. I also foster many cats and dogs! I started Few Steps From Home animal rescue and adoption about 3 years ago now. We have been featured on channel 25 news in Michigan, channel 5 news, I have been voted hometown hero in the Bay City Times, the rescue has been featured in the Bay City times quite a bit, the saginaw news and the Midland times. I am always looking for volunteers to help with the many tasks we have. meet and greets, cattery cleaning, dog socialization and training, kennel cleaning, call backs, planning meet and greets, fostering and much more! If you would like to help please let me know! We operate ona shoe string budget and are always in GREAT need of donations. URGENT! PITTY NEEDS HELP-SPECIAL CASE
URGENT! CROSS POST WIDELY. PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP LET US KNOW ASAP!!
Bay as she was named by the cruelty officer who pulled her out of the horrible nightmare she was living.. She is a young, around 2 yr old pittie who was found by our cruelty officers living in a crawl space of an abandoned house.. The officer thinks she was used as bait or maybe tried to fight her but she was TOO TOO SWEET to do so, so they threw her in the crawl space and left her to die.. Man’s best friend will be on a little longer leash in Westland following approval of some new ordinance language.
Last week, members of the city council unanimously agreed to take the bite out of current rules and approved a new ordinance that eliminates a breed-specific ban which required certain dogs considered “vicious and or dangerous” be restrained, penned, leashed and or muzzled, depending on the circumstances… Continue

Please help us with vet care costs
vet care costs are rising, and adoption prices can not. Too many people are losing their jobs, homes, and having to give up on their own pets. We have had so many people contact us for help for strays, and pets they can no longer keep. We can not keep up with the great demand. We are in urgent need of help for vet care costs for the animals in our care. Won't you please donate even 1.00 today to help care for these poor lost souls who never asked for any of this?

our dog did that the other night but turned out she got her foot stuck...scared my mom to death she came out with a baseball bat...maybe he is pintching something? i think getting him checked out sounds best
