I have learned a lot from my cats and how well they treat us with UNCONDITIONAL love. And when we lose one of our 'children' and they travel off to rainbow bridge for their well deserved blessing and playtime one feels a great loss. Yes I admit I mi…

I know what you are going through! My Chuppa did the same thing to me one month ago to the date. I still shed a tear for my little man. My other 2 cats sense this and cry along with me when I start to shed a tear or two. They know it also, because C…

How we met:
ON 08-18-09 @ 6AM MY CHUPPA WENT TO THE RASINBOW BRIDGE IN MY ARMS TO BE WITH MY LATE WIFE. I KNOW HE IS NO LONGER SUFFERING BUT MY HEART IS STILL VERY HEAVY BY HIS PASSING.

Chuppa: A friend and I were out having a cup of coffee at a SPCA sattelite when he saw a animal adoption sign pointing towards the waiting room. I was reading the paper when I thought he took off to the restroom. He came back a few minutes later and told me to take a walk back there I think there is something you would like to see. I said Not really I finished my first cup when refills were poured. Well I got to being curious and decided to check out the waiting room. Well there he was a short hair he took one look at me and started purring madly I walked over to him and started to talk to him he held out his paw as if to say nice meeting you. That was it! I told the cat I will be right back to bring you home. Well I went to the front counter and filled out the adoption paper work. Before I knew it Chuppa was in my arms and purring and snuggling. I was on my way home with my adopted 'child'.

Halloween: Chuppa needed a playmate I asked my friend to go for a ride with me. We stopped and grabbed lunch, and then went to the SPCA in our city and started to look at the animals. We seen different varieties of birds, dogs, rabbits and more. Then we stopped at the cat section. My friend noticed this medium haired tortise shelled cat and was playing with her in the cage. A volunteer came up and let us take her into the little adoption area where the cat and us can know each other a little better. I fell in love with her right away as my friend was playing with her I was off filling the paperwork.. The two of them came out and the volunteer asked if we had a carrier for her. I said no I forgot it cause we were just looking I did not think I would fall in live with another. No problem a few minutes later the volunteer came back with her little blanket and a cardboard carrier for her to take her home. Now that's 'child' number 2!

Princess: well she is my friend's cat. She is a one person cat, she will only respond to my friend and walks away from me. But I still love her my long-haired house queen!
Pet likes:
Chuppa: he like to be the center of attention when I come home from the office he wont let me take my coat off untill I pet him and rub his belly.

Halloween: The same for her she'll mew and yip until I pet her, in the mean time Chuppa is wrapping himself around my ankle and purring.

Princess he looks and just miaows her hello and walks away, she is the one who gets her spoiling from my friend.
Pet dislikes:
Chuppa and Halloween: both are pretty well mannered when they go to the vet, Princess on the other hand well she is not a happy queen when at the vet's and she lets it be known by crying and hissing until I get her back home then she is mad at me for the whole day and wont do nothing until my friend comes home from his work, she'll run right to him and swat me with her tail.
Pet’s favorite spot:
Chuppa enjoys a lazy boy
Halloween: the other lazy boy
Princess The bedroom
Pet’s favorite toy:
All three of them like the catnip mice I have to watch it on the catnip with Princess, she goes nuts on the smell of it. I have to use it ever so sparingly, the other two it seems to mellow them out
Pet’s silliest habit:
All three are front declawed and just to watch then think they are using the couch as a scratching post and walking away thinking they have sharpened the front claws on it.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
Bed time: Chuppa takes one side, Halloween the other and Princess curls up at the bottom, that leaves me no room but then hey thats the beauty of cats
I crack up when my pet:
wants atten they have their own way of getting me, either by purring loudly in my ear as if to wake me up (it works!) Or by just sitting there and in unison start to miaow.
My pet is unique because:
All three of them are unique in thier own way and I love them to peices.

My Chuppa went to be with my Joan at Rainbow Bridge

Today 08-18-09 @ 6AM my little takkie Gupya (Chuppa) went to be with my late wife at Rainbow Bridge. He passed away in my arms after he had his morning treat. My Little man, I WILL be with you some day with you and Joan and once again we'll be one happy family and we will ALL cross that rainbow bridge and forever be in each other's arms and loving each other once again. Until then I will remain behind taking care of things here with a heavy heart for you my little child. We had several wonderful… Continue

I still cry for you and I still walk the floors looking for you. I miss the couch cuddle session we had together with you purring while on my chest and ever so gently thumping your tail on my side. I miss the evening cuddle times we had together in the bed just ever being so tender and nice. I miss the belly rubs I used to give you every so often, Just to her you purr your thanks and then jumping up into bed and cuddling with me for a night of sleep. Now I toss and turn with out you by my side.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It is the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquired lots…

I had to put my dog(best friend) down barely a month and a have ago. Is it normal for me to still cry all night? I've been looking for a new dog even though I won't be able to get one for quite some time. Is what I'm feeling normal?
