ANIMALS ARE MY LIFE~

Proud pet parent of:

Chickens - Squeek, Roxy, Peanut, Cornelia Marie, Fifi, Tiffany, Rosie, Cupcake, Spice, Sugar, Biscuits, Gravy, Charlie, Charcoal, Ruby, Katrina, Lola, Goldie, Shasta, Ophelia, LaFawnda, Daisy and Penny.
2 indoor Cats, Oreo, our big kitty, and Buttercup.
1 beautiful border collie/pit-bull mix dog named Breezy
3 aquatic turtles, Nero, Philbert & Scuba
and 6 baby chicks! (Jezebel, Cuite, Eeny, Meenie, Miney & Mo)

How we met:

Breezy was a rescue dog from C.A.R.E. in San Jose, Ca. We loved her the moment we saw her in person.

Pet likes:

Bree loves walks, sneaking under the covers with me or the kids Breezy likes chewy bones, she brings them with her to watch tv on her big pillow. Breezy also loves to chew on her blankie, I think it feels good on her teeth.

Pet dislikes:

riding in the car makes Breezy nervous, yet, she always jump in when I open the car door.

Pet’s favorite spot:

laying with you on the bed in the sun or on the trampoline in the sun. She loves to be outside and run around the yard or inside cuddled up on the couch or bed with you..

Pet’s favorite toy:

Bree loves her stuffy toys. She has her 'puppy' that she will NOT rip.

Pet’s silliest habit:

whenever she sees the chickens coming, she takes her food bowl and hides it in my room or my son's room! SO CUTE!!!!
Also, when we have something in our hand (food) she looks, and then goes in a circle and sits, and does it repeatedly until she gets what she wants. Too cute to resist! (I know, no begging, but its BREEZY!!!)

Pet’s sweetest moments:

Oh, whenever I cry or one of the kids cry, she literally nuzzles her neck up under yours and positions herself like a giant hug. Nothing in the world could be better than a Breezy hug. She is so sensitive.
Also, I was in the pool trying to get onto a raft and was flailing about, and she jumped into the water to save me!!!

I crack up when my pet:

tilts her head, and her ears are pointing the other way, as if to say, "it went THAT way!" Those ears are so cute!!
Or runns and jumps into the pool and then realizes that it is not what she really wanted to do.

My pet is unique because:

She loves the chickens and watches after them. When ever another kind of bird flies into the yard, she chases them off. She submits to the chickens too, and they sometimes follow her around, knowing that she will not hurt them. That says a lot about a dog, especially since when we got Breezy, when the chickens were full grown.
