Profile Information

Proud pet parent of:
8 dogs, 4 cats
How we met:
Two were taken in from poor owners. Five were purchased. One showed up! Chow, two Beagles, five Rotties
Pet likes:
Tug of war w each other
Pet dislikes:
Very jealious of each other.
Pet’s favorite spot:
Under my chair
Pet’s favorite toy:
Pig ears and my socks
Pet’s silliest habit:
Walking with bowls. At betime, instead of going to bed, they will fall limp as a noodle so they don't have to go.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When they look at me.
I crack up when my pet:
falls asleep while setting up.
My pet is unique because:
Each has their own personality. Training and learning is unique. Each one learns differently and responds differently. Often I hear of the "misunderstood breed". I find this alarming. Owners who think that their dogs are not dangerious or won't bite. Dogs of high prey drive, dogs who are shy and timid, dogs who are protective, dogs who are dogs, do bite and can be dangerious. Training and education are paramount for our animals and owners. It is much easier to ban a breed than to ban the idiot who owns them and think they are a misunderstood breed. I have owned dobermans, German shepherds, rottweilers and pitt bulls. I loved them all. They were and are protective and dangerious to outsiders without control and proper training.

Hi, Jeffrey,
I have a question about my Rotts, On there elbows they have these rough spots kindof like sand paper, what is that from and is there something I can do to fix it? Could it be from laying on the floor?
Thanks Amber

Hi Jeffrey,
I ended up drawing a portrait of Bronson, and added the scan of the picture to my photos in case you wanted to check it out. Thanks so much for allowing me to use your gorgeous dogs as a model. It sure makes it easy to make a good portrait when you have such a good subject :)

Hi Jeffrey,
I was wondering if I could use one of your rottweiler photos as a model to draw a portrait from. I work with a rescue in Ontario, Canada and we are trying to raise some money for two Rotties we took in who needed major care (cruciate surgery and a severe neglect case). You can see their stories and photos at www.furkidsrescue.ca (Carter and Senta are the two dogs). Anyway, I would just need your permission to use the photo to draw the dog... your pictures (and dogs) are gorgeous!

I hear McMurray Hatchery is pretty good but I think the miniumum order is 25. They have a huge selection and if you sign up for their email newsletter they give you a $5 off coupon right away. Is there a tractor supply or an agway near you? They have chicks too.

Im incubating some chicks now, actually they should hatch today or tomorrow! But , I would order them from a hatchery online because they can sex them. I never know how many will be hens and how many roosters. Ill put some pics up when they hatch!!!
