- Daisy was adopted from the Humane Society on 3/30/08, Sunny was adopted (also from the Humane Society) on 12/5/09.

- Thanks for the friend request, And to answer your question. It is wonderful caring for rabbits. And you are right they are playful just like cats and tend to be somewhat moody like cats also. I also rescue rabbits and I have seen some abuse but mainly people buy a rabbit thinking they can care for it like they do their dog or cat and that is not the case. Rabbits need a bit more care. Course some dog and cat owners will disagree.... I have dogs and a cat and the rabbits tend to require more care.

- Jenny, normally a German Shepherd will live to age 11 or 12. The AKC has a German Shepherd Senior Club and if your GSD lives over the age of 13, you can register them. It's fairly unusual. She was 12 when we got our second one.. a puppy named Sasha. We figured she was on her last legs then.. but she's still here. LOL Yes, it's sad.. she also has a heart murmer and I know this sounds awful, but I keep hoping it will be that which takes her. It is quick and painless. The idea of her suffering is hard on me. She is one of those "protector" German Sheps, but she's not aggressive.. she's just protective - a big difference. She also likes to talk ALOT.. so she barks and really she's just telling everyone she's on guard. LOL
The missing posts.. well, there is a user here named Lala and Maria.. same person. There is another one named Auggie.. same person. They are all Liddy.. she comes in and gets people pissed off, then deletes her account and starts all over. When you delete your account, all your posts go too.. so that's why it looks odd.. everyone is responding to her because she's an asshole.. lol. I have a few samples of her behavior if you're ever interested.. she is super nasty and don't be surprised if you get an invite to her own ning site.. she starteed it after she was banned here .. she's been banned several times, but keeps coming back. She has no life. LOL

- Jenny, Aki is 16 years old in January. They discovered a mass in her anal glands about 2 years ago, but it wasn't growing. Well, now it has grown and in fact she has a second mass on the other side. The vet doesn't like her stomach palpitations and she feels she also has cancer there. She's been steadily losing weight over the past few months, so I've feared this for some time. We are monitoring her for pain now.. and that's all we can do. I want her end of days to be dignified and pain free. She's lived a long, lovely life and I have been blessed to have her. Most people don't get to have German Shepherds this long.. I'm very lucky.

- Oh Jenny what wonderful, yet bittersweet news! I still think of Jesse.. I really have a hard time when I hear that someone has lost a family member. I have my older dog here.. she's been put into hospice care and there is nothing more we can do for her. So I'm trying to not be a selfish turd and be grateful for the good times with her. It's hard though, isn't it? After all that time - it truly is like losing a family member.
Well, I just can't wait to see those kittens! I love Manx kitties. They are so special. I've had many in my lifetime.. I had a grey and white one named Ashes.. she was mean as hell, but oh how I loved her and she loved me!! I'll go look.. lol
