- How we met:
- Through a great friend. She had four adult Pitties and she breeds every year.
- Pet likes:
- They looove porridge and weetbix! Sunny days lying on the deck! Pillows and duvets! Harley absolutely adores going for rides in the car. He quite fancies tomatoes and steals them off the vine! They loved being praised and will do almost anything to be stroked and cuddled and told they are a good boy or girl!
- Pet dislikes:
- Both are not too fond of getting in the bath anymore. They used to just jump right in with you but .. not so keen on the idea now. Harley is not fond of the cold and will actually push you out of bed if he has the chance just to get closer to the electric blanket. Harley does not like to have strangers put their hand out to his face in greeting or touch his face until he is used to the person. And he hates the vet whereas Bailey thinks its quite a nice outing! lol! Neither dog likes to share at all!
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- Baileys is sunning herself on the deck. Harleys favourite spot is under the covers on the bed!
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- Bailey has a yellow fluffy duck that used to squeak. It has been mauled and loved by her so much that its quite hard to distinguish what it is! Harleys favourite toy at the moment is a duck also but in 'boy' colours. He still has the squeaker firmly attatched inside and scoots around the house with it honking!
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- Lying on the bed with head hanging off the edge. the lips then droop down baring the teeth while snoring like an old man!
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- harley has a tandancy to give 'bull' kisses. He quite randomly will give you a kiss on the chin or cheek but lately as he is getting so big the 'kisses' are with the force of a small bull!!
- I crack up when my pet:
- answers me back. Harley is quite vocal especially when it comes to food. He will answer back, stamp his feet or will quite often use his paw to pull your hand away to lead you to the 'bikkie' container in the pantry!
- My pet is unique because:
- Depsite contstant media attention about pit Bulls being aggressive .. blah blah .. Bailey is very dainty and feminine. I havent seen another female quite the way she is. She almost prances when you take her out for a walk and everything to the way she smiles is very feminine! Sheis very much a 'girly girl' dog! Harley is just amazing. Very clever he remembers routines only once and will renact them the next day. We had a broken window on the laundry a few weeks back. He was waiting for the porridge to cool for breakfast and of course it wasnt cooling as quick as he would have liked it to. He did everything he could think of to get my attention. In the end he very quietly snucjk into the laundry, climed up on top the washing machine and began to peel the tape away from the broken window with his teeth!! lol!! He also will randomly select face cream or hand lotion from a atop my dresser, while being quite careful not to puncture the tubes with his teeth he then hides them in our bed!

We currently have two pitbulls .. one is a chocolate female who is nearing 18 months of age and our male is currently 5 months old and getting bigger by the day .. a tan brown in colour! Our aim is to breed in the very near future! We can also be contacted on pittiepuppies@gmail.com for enquiries!
A true pitbull is generally a very friendly, stable, safe breed although in recent years some people have misused the breed and the media have misrepresented the pitbull greatly. What i mean by 'true pitbull' is simply put .. pure.. not crossed or reproduced to represent a breed that in fact it is not. That is our aim here. To breed and maintain pure pitbulls both in nature and form. A true pitbull (if you have one you will know what i mean here) is goofy, friendly towards people and known for its sound character, strong nerve and they are very intelligent! They are a strong and vigilant dog enough to protect their owner if the need arises!

Oh the shame ....
i have to find that cat ...last night when mum took me outside to the toilet ... i saw that this cat was feasting upon the bowl of biscuits that dad had left out for 'spock' our own cat .. anyway without giving away too much detail .. lets just say that somehow that cat ended up wrapped around my face and wouldnt let go or let me win! He got away! I have looked for him tonite i have .. but i havent found him yet! He left me with scratches to my face and bit my nose! I dont like… Continue

last nite i escaped! I did! i dont like those damn neighbourhood cats too much and when dad opened the door i was gone .. like a rocket! No one knew i could run that fast! ahha! But i had a bit of an accident. As i rounded the corner i skidded on the concrete and skinned my knee and my chin. But still i got those cats off my property! Today i showed them i did! Firstly i did not like that lady at the vet. She smelled funny and she thought she knew what she was talking about! She tried to fit me for a mussle so i could go for walks with dad and i told her i was not having that at all! I even showed her abit of teeth i did! Anyway i got home and showed dad that i could proudly walk around with the mussle myself. I looked so handsome!

What Gives Me Hope
that one day people will learn .. learn to distinguish what is a true pitbull and one that has been interbred. That people and the media will oneday learn to put blame where blame belongs ... on the owners .. not on the dogs whose only mentor is the owner from which it came. Put responsibility where it belongs. What gives me hope ... my boy Harley!

Your probably wondering what I'm talking about in the earlier comment I made.
I agree..Pits are so smart and they are so in tune with how people treat them and other dogs..Patron also loses weight and his hair gets dull not shiney when he is depressed...The more attention i give Patron the more he has to hv...We are all very happy with the move...Now we live in the country...We bought Patron off of a dairy so this is his element...I will hv to put more pics up...The one i hv is of Patron and my girlfriend not me...I will see if you put any new ones up! Oh yeh today I finally got my internet goin so im back on!
