Proud pet parent of:
Zieke
How we met:
It was a cold, rainy night when I drove forty miles after seeing an ad in the newspaper that someone was giving away German Shepherd puppies. It was already getting dark when we arrived after getting lost a couple of times...As soon as I picked up this fluffy puppy i knew he was the one.
Pet likes:
YELLOW SQUEAKY FOOTBALL!!!, long walks, playing fetch in the park, MY MOMMMMA!!, all my toys, fluffy puppy tummy rubs, stuffed kong toys mmm...
Pet dislikes:
the infamous spray bottle, my super happy box (crate)
Pet’s favorite spot:
grassy area across the street.
Pet’s favorite toy:
YELLOW SQUEAKY FOOTBALL!!!!
Pet’s silliest habit:
stealing clothes and making us chase him around, or resting his puppy face everywhere.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When he follows us to everywhere and just wants to be with the pack. When he licks all of my tears away when I cry.
I crack up when my pet:
chases the laser
My pet is unique because:
Zieke is always eager to please and learn. He loves his pack and would do anything for all of us. He is fiercely loyal and sweet as can be.

Giving up one thing for another
Current mood: anxious

I have come to notice that with this disease, i have to give up one thing for another thing...For example...When I am walking long distances (like across wal-mart or target), my vision gets blurry and my right side tingles...
So in order to walk around a store, i have to sacrifice my eyesight. And it's not just with that...now I have to sacrifice a lot of things for my MS...It's like the disease t… Continue

What would I do without coffee? I am so tired without it. I'm trying not to take provigil as much becuase I don't want to get used to it... So i'm using coffee instead.
I have bad news though, i didn't take my shot last night. To be absolutely honest...I remembered it last night...but i didn't want to take it.
This is because a couple of nights ago I had a huge reaction to it. First I got chills all over my body, then my chest started hurt… Continue

Hi, I signed the petition "maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy." I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Here are the basics of the case:

Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven month old fox terrier puppy near Mackay at the weekend.

If found guilty, they could face up to two years in prison. Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone which shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it hacked to pieces with garden shears and a pocked knife.

They said the owners were too distressed to talk to anyone about it.

The pups nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured.

The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four month jail term.

WE BELIEVE THESE MEN SHOULD RECIEVE THE MAXIMUN PENALTY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THIS SADISTIC, DISGUSTING ACT.

Hi Tara! I'm doing the same with limiting the carrots and apples - in fact I've totally cut them out for the moment as my rabbit is on a diet. It's not doing much good as she's still a bit podgy! Ha ha! I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who gets…
