- MY BEAUTIFUL SPOILED ROTTEN "LABRADOR "HAILEY BETH"
A beautiful (almost 2) yellow labrador named Hailey. She is the sunshine in everyday of my life. She has taught me to "love again" after the tragic loss of my pitbull named "Rayne"...Hailey had some really big paws to fill. Rayne was such a special part of my life. He was my best friend. He saved my life on more than 1 occasion (thanks to domestic violence) and he loved me whether I was dressed for work or down on the ground crying my eyes out. He was my true ONE AND ONLY best friend. I am very surprised to say as well as proud to say: Hailey has filled those shoes wonderfully. Luckily I have met and wonderful man who loves me more than I thought was even possible..He loves animals (in a way I have never seen a man) and Miss Hailey loves her daddy to death....She is her own "doggie personality"..She loves in such a tender, soft and lady like way.
I often forget that she is not human. She (after Rayne) is the greatest gift from God.
I am so thankful to Rayne....for he was the "pitbull" that showed me the "truth" about pitbulls...He taught me that we as humans have no reason to fear "them", for all they want is their own "family" who shows them love and safety and in return, there is no love like the unconditional love of a pitbull...Especially a rescued pitbull...Thank you Rayne...You made me the Pitbull Advocate that I am today...You took the fear away and showed me that "pitbulls" really are no different than any other breed. RIP Rayne...I am so sorry that I was not able to save your life the day your daddy took me away from me. (x husband)...I feel such guilt and I have never forgotten a single day of our years together..And I never will...I hope that you know how much you are missed..My heart will always have a whole where your precious heart filled...Another Angel is with you now...His name is Gage...He is a super duper pitbull who is missing his family....Please find Gage and help him through the pain that we both had when we were so unjustly seperated..I love you mom...

- How we met:
- I believe in my heart that me and Hailey were brought together with the help of my precious belated pitull RAYNE and his helper GOD. That is my belief and I am so thankful and forever indebted to the both of you..
- Pet likes:
- LOVES MOMMY....AND DADDY...No doubt about that. But she also is one of those who has never met a stranger ...Guess I am going to have to invest in the ADT alarm system after all. But that's ok...I love her just the way she is..
- Pet dislikes:
- 1- THE VACCUMM CLEANER...Oh she is scared to death...
2- When mommie and daddy are hugging, SHE MUST BE
IN THE MIDDLE.
3- When mommie and daddie down share their dinners with
her. (She's 93 pounds....:)
4- When her mommie cries...She will not leave my side..
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- IN DADDY'S LAP in the recliner that is much to small for the two of them...But oh...it is the funniest sight ever!!!!!!!!
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- A thick rubber STICK that I got at Petsmart...She loves sticks....I MEAN LOVES THEM...But we don't allow her in the house with them...SOOO..thank you PETSMART!!
- Pet’s silliest habit:
- ONE of them is no matter what you are doing...HER SQUEAKY TOY is more important. She will take her toy and set it on the sofa....then ruff ruff a few times if you dont pick it up..Then she'll start clawing the area where the toy is..and she started her "Hailey Talk" and getting pretty darn loud I might out..Her final move if that toy is thrown, SHE IS IN YOUR LAP AND FACE "NOW"....Imagine 93 pounds of pure labrador love licking you in the face...AL over a toy...Thats MY GIRL!!!
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- I have put much much thought to this...I would have to say: The day that we installed a doggie door. We finally get this "weird contraption" made and Hailey is looking at me like "HUH? ME?? Through there????? SOOOO..here goes mommie....crawling in and and out of the doggie door...Well, after about 10 in and outs and hurt knees she finally ventures through it...Then she realizes that is the door to the "outside playworld" and she goes in and out in and out...Just cause SHE COULD...Well..our poor 8 pound poodle didn't have enough strength to push the doggie door cause of course we hade to get the super duper biggest size for precious overweight Hailey..Well would you believe, Hailey started going half way through the door, with just enough room for Dasher (poodle) to jump through and she did the same to let him in..I've never seen such gentleness until I saw Hailey and how she protects and helps her little furry brother Dasher.
- I crack up when my pet:
- Talks in her sleep...I don't know what she's saying but sometimes she'll be in a deep deep sleep and I'll hear a "grllowlll" and it's her....Then her tail wags ALOT....I look closely at her and she is asleep. I think it is so cute when she's dreaming and just out of the blue the tail starts wagging out of control and her ears are twitching... Wonder if she's dreaming of her mommie????
- My pet is unique because:
- Unique? I think all animals are unique in their own way. I do believe Hailey was heaven sent. She came into my life when I was struggling hard with the loss of my pitbull Rayne. She did the impossible. I swore the day I lost Rayne, I would never have another pet...It is to heartbreaking to loose them...I never ever wanted to feel the emptiness and anger as I did when Rayne was taken from me. Well, Hailey had a different outlook on her and my life...She showed me that I could love again. She was so patient with her mommie when she cried "screaming Rayne's name"...She kissed my tears away when i cried. She helped me through the toughest part of my life. I don't know if that is unique, but I surely thank God everyday for the greatest gift he could give me...HAILEY and with HAILEY, I had a second chance...And now MISS HAILEY, has me wrapped around her little furry paw..I guess being home with her 24/7 has brought us to close. There is no me without her..

Gage was just like your companion or mine...He was loved by his family..My friends..He was such a great example of what a "pitbull" can become...And he was ripped from his family, a family that I love very much. In a matter of 30 seconds Gage was in my friends backyard, bothering no one and because of hatred and pure ignorance his life was taken. He lost his precious life to his neighbor who was tired of hearing Gage bark when he went outside..PLEASE SHOW ME A DOG THAT DOESEN'T BARK!!!! A man played a role that he was never given by God...He was Gage's JUDGE, JURY and EXECUTIONER...I don't know if this man, Ray Stanfill knows that he not only took Gage's life, but he has forever changed my friends lives...AND I AM ANGRY!! Actually I am beyond anger....I am now on a mission....I will not let Gage's death be in vain...I will not let my best friend Shana (Gage's mom) fight this fight alone...I am sick of all the abuse that this breed suffers at the hands of ignorant and heartless humans.....

Gage's Sentencing Update- IM SO SORRY FOR BEING SO LONG
I am SOOOOO sorry for taking so long to respond to everyones emails and comments. I have been dug in to so many activities and trying to remember where I have and have not posted the Gage Sentencing....Please forgive me...

1) 6 Months Jailtime Suspened (see #2)
2) Ordered to 180 Consecutive days (8 hour days) of community
