- I was not thrilled about my hubby wanting to get this 'pit bull' that his brother had that he rescued. I agreed to see it. This skinny white dog cautiously came out of his carrier. She looked around and then walked to where I sat and jumped in my lap and looked at me with her sweet brown eyes. It was love at first sight!! Since then, I have learned more about the stereotype of pitbulls and feel ashamed that I felt the way I did. My husband adopted another pit and I love her just as much!!! They are both SO sweet and want love just like any other breed!!! They are our kids!!!!
- I crack up when my pet:
- Makes her 'whoop whoop' noises when she sleeps!!!!! Sounds just like the one Stooge!!!!

- I understand those that are concerned about over population and breeding pits just to be put to sleep but there ARE people out there that DO care about this breed and want to have a pit that is raised in a good manner. There are many breeders out there that raise these dogs to be fighters and to be anti-social. Those are the ones that you need to send these messages to. There are fewer of the good breeders. As far as breeding the pits, no, it is NOT for money...they want to promote the pit bull as a wonderful pet and not the monster the breed is known for. I applaud them for promoting the good pit bull. I was very against having a pit bull until I met the one that I took home with me from them. I was very wrong in what I thought of a pit bull and want to help more people realize they are wonderful pets. I respect everyone's opinion and I ask that you respect ours. Thank you.

- Thank you!! Makes them look even more like sisters!!! No, it is actually a red one. I had a checkered flag like one (cuz I'm a Nascar freak) but didn't work well. She now has a black one with white reflective paws on it and a silver paw name tag for her bling. I'm not a fan of pink so that is why she doesn't have a pink one. Black seems to suit her well and the other pit girl has red collar with red paw name tag. So spoiled!!!! LOL
