i sighed it THAT'S HORRIFYING it's not right why do people get little animals and do things like that theirs people out there looking for them for good homes

I don't think animals have a concept of "fairness."

Eskimos are amazing. They use EVERYTHING they kill and that includes the fur. In that instance I don't think there's a problem with it.

- 5 dogs- Lady a 10yr old Cocker Spaniel, Tinkerbell my youngest daughters Chihuahua, Abby my oldest daughters 1yr old Yorkie, Daisy our Cockapoo, and Rosie our 3yr old Cocker Spaniel
10 cats- Sugar, Spice (sisters who have never been outside, Socks who spends most of her time on the roof or our house, Hairball our one eyed cat, TomTom one of the strays we have taken in and his brother- Garfield, Wild Thing and Muffin- two more strays, Shadow who's our youngest and my cat Baby who is full blood snowshoe Siamese ( I found him when he was just a baby and hand fed him)
5 ferrets - Cuddles, Monkey, Gizmo (Gizzy for short) Buddy and Stinky
2 lizards- Spike a Uromaystx and Lizzy a Leopard Gecko
3 birds- Katie and Jack who are Quaker Parrots, and Lucy an Amazon Parrot
and 1 little African water frog named Freckles.
- How we met:
- 3 of the dogs where bought as well as 2 of the ferrets but the rest where adopted or taken in as strays (cats) or had health problems (the ferrets). Their are a lot of them but they have all been given a good loving home.
- Pet likes:
- They like everything especially attention. Most of them get more attention then animals from single pet households.
- Pet dislikes:
- My birds only like me (mostly), my Siamese cat only loves me but tolerates others when they have food. Mostly my animals don't really dislike anything. They are to spoiled.
- Pet’s favorite spot:
- Cats like my coffee table, the dogs like the couches and the beds and the ferrets love their time in their playpen. Mostly anywhere they aren't supposed to be is where they like to spend most of their time.
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- All my pets love anything that make noise (except the birds and the reptiles). If it rattles, rings, jingles or bangs then the cats, dogs and ferrets love it.
- Pet’s sweetest moments:
- My Siamese cat Baby follows me everywhere. He the sweetest most loving cat (towards me) ever. My Amazon bird Lucy says "Love you Mommy" to me all the time.
- I crack up when my pet:
- When the cats chase the dogs tails. The dogs think it's funny too.
- My pet is unique because:
- All my pets are unique in their own ways. I love each and everyone of them for the way they are. No two are alike.

I've got to say, I don't know how you deal with the hair problem in your home. I have 2 German Shepherds and my husband and I clean up hair several times a week. You are truly one of God's angels to take on the care of so many animals. God bless you for the work you do.

Wolfsden said… - Hello LJ this is Judy Miller. Sorry I haven't been around much lately but my Kitty Mufasa has been ill and I have been tending to him. He had a case of conjunctivitis and an infection running through his system and had to be on antibiotics. We are most of the way better now. I found a great vet. She specializes in feline treatment.
I wanted to tell you that I tried the softclaws and Mufasa and Striper are getting along fine with them. Smokee was a different story, hers lasted about 5 minutes, lol. Out of 10 she ended up with three still left on one paw. I still have to make the scratching posts for them but I think everything will be ok now.
