i agree with you completely. i dont think people should get comunity service. i think they need something worse or they wont learn. it not only hurt the dog but the kids as well, think how scared they were after that happened to them.

But I think about and miss my Kayce everyday!

Pup Trainning

Hey my fellow animals lovers,
I am having such a problem with my new addition. He is acting out alot. He is a Boxer/Lab mix and I think he got all the lab and little of the boxer. He is chewing, running out the door, barking alot, and eating cat poo. My boxers never did anything like this. Tranning classes are just too much for me right now so can anyone give me a few pointers? It's been 8 yrs sence I had a puppy! HELP!

What is the world coming too? Please read.....

I was surfing the net and came across this story. I have never seen a animal cruelty case quite like this!

Lucy, a Weimaraner, was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Valley Center Road and Chaparral Terrace in Valley Center on March 8. Apparently, the driver that hit the dog didn't stop, but several other people did, including a woman who volunteered to drive Lucy to the vet.

Another motorist, though, thought Lucy should be put out of her misery then and there and allegedly took a hamme… Continue

Thank you! It's been slow-going, but I'm in the process of trying to gather more info. It's hard because I now live so far away from it, but the memory of the smell, the sight, and the sound of hundreds of little barking dogs is as fresh as can be. There's nothing like being there in person. It's great that you took on a mill dog! I'd love for all of these little guys to be as lucky as your Boxer and find good homes, but that is a battle to be fought hard! I love Boxers too. My partner has one... They do love to smile!

This ice storm reminds me of the ice storm we had in New England back in the 70s and we were with out power for a week. Reminded me of the movie Day after Tomorrow. I hope no dogs were hurt during this storm.

Staci, I just want to be clear about one thing.. they are not considering using the money that was donated to assist in their budget shortfall, are they? I don't think that is legal.. or maybe it is, I'm not sure! Please say it ain't so. You'd thin…

That's how I did it.. with the patch. Some people smoke for the oral satisfaction.. so gum might work better for them. That worked for my son, who has quit long ago.
