OTHER GREAT ANIMAL ORGANIZATIONS

I'd like to point out some other great animal organizations, besides the well-known ones like ASPCA, HSUS, or PETA.

If anyone needs information about the legal process for laws regarding animals, check out a great organization called Animal Legal Defense Fund. It is an organization of attorneys who push for stronger anti-cruelty laws and litigate against those who commit animal abuse. Check out the Resources tab on the website, where they answer many questions you may have about animal laws, such as how to help your neighbor's neglected animal.

For those who live in Texas, the Texas Humane Legislation Network promotes animal welfare through legislation, education, and advocacy. It is a great resource to keep up with pending animal welfare legislation in Texas.

Laurie, thank you so much for your sweet comment! I have had such a blast meeting all of my aspca friends, and guess what I think Saydee may somehow be a cousin to Lucy and Chloe HA HA! She is a Beagle mix, but she is looking more Beagle everyday. She is so much bigger now than in this profile pic. You should check out my other new pictures of her. She is my lil girl and I love her!

Your dogs are soooo cute! I wish you lived closer, we could let our dogs run a muck together...although if yours are anything like mine, there noses would be to the ground :)
