Proud pet parent of:

Gizmo, a gorgeous little Papillon (born 3/21/08), and Lady, a very fun-loving and goofy "Puggle" (Born 9-10-07).

How we met:

Gizmo was given to us from a friend's accidental litter..and Lady went to the same dog park as us, and when we told her owners that she was precious, they told us she was up for adoption, they were searching out her perfect owners..and hey, that just happened to be us. =]

I have to add that Noodle, our rescued Shar-Pei, had passed away on September 5th, 2008 at 5:15pm, due to kidney failure or "Shar-Pei fever". Our hearts were absolutely broken into pieces, and still are. He was my little man, and my constant companion, and it killed me inside to have to let him go. He'll live on in our hearts forever. He rescued me, not the other way around.

Pet likes:

They love ear rubs and belly rubs, playing fetch, going to the off-leash park, eating food!!

Pet dislikes:

Lady hates any loud noises, they freak her out..and Gizmo hates when mommy wears the furry hood to her coat, or if we climb up on a ladder or something.. he barks and barks and barks.

Pet’s favorite spot:

They love their beds, and our bed, and the couch (when daddy and mommy don't see) and their crates!

Pet’s favorite toy:

Tennis balls, and Kong toys! And squeaky shoes.

Pet’s silliest habit:

Lady will sniff under the door when you're in the bathroom..
and Gizmo will clear any gate or fence you put up..I think he has agility potential.

Pet’s sweetest moments:

When Noodle's passed, Gizmo knew it had happened..at the time, Gizmo was only six months old, but you could tell by the way he acted.. He's usually such a spaz, but that night, when I came home, I just sat on the floor and bawled my eyes out, only to feel this little furry thing crawl into my lap and lick my face. It was his only way of saying, It's gunna be okay, mommy..

I crack up when my pet:

Oh, I have to laugh because Gizmo and Lady are crated at night, so when we get up to let them out to potty..they run around as if to be screaming 'FREEDOM'..
