Create a Myspace LED Scroller I (Rocky) am a Beagle/German Shepherd Mix, I am 4 years old and my birthday is June 16th, 2003. Mommy found me when she was out checking out the local yard sales, she wasn’t familiar with her new town, since her and daddy just moved to Illinois from Florida, so she found herself in a very bad part of town, but something kept telling her it would all be worth the drive. Well it sure was! She found me! I came from horrible conditions, the place where I was born was so dirty, and they didn’t even have a front door to their home! The year was full of junk. (just like you see on animal planet cops) I had 9 other litter mates, but I was the one who kept sitting on Mommy’s feet, I wouldn’t leave her alone. Finally she said I will take this puppy. Mommy named me Rocky because she said I came from a Rocky home on a rocky road. I was a sick puppy, I had worms really bad, fleas, you name it I had it! Plus she said I smelled really bad. All I can say now is I sure am glad mommy came to my rescue. She did find out that all the other puppies found new homes! That’s good because she worried about them.

I am 4 years old; my birthday is December 1, 2003. Mommy and Daddy found me in the paper. I was born on a farm in Indiana. I also have two different color eyes, one blue and the other brown. I also protect the home, I am not very nice to people when they walk or drive by, I let them know this is my home and no one is allowed to hurt us. Mommy says I’m just a big baby, but look out if you walk through our fence, I am fast! And will scare the living daylights out of you! Mommy and Daddy rescued me from the shelter on April 26, 2008. I am about 3 years old female Black Lab mix with possible Shepherd. We don't know when my birthday is, so we will celebrate it on the day I arrived here at my new forever home. I was in the shelter for 2 months, the shelter even used me as the model dog for an article they did about black dogs are harder to find homes for. I'm starting to get along pretty good now with Sasha, Rocky and Elvis, but it's still tough trying to find my place in the pack, I'm such a needy dog, it's hard for the others to understand I need a little more TLC than they do. But Mommy and Daddy expect us to all be best buds in a few weeks. Also I am very sensitive, if one of the other dogs is getting in trouble, I take it personally, and I hide in the bedroom, I also don’t like loud noises and hate stairs, I have not wanted to venture down in the basement, something scares me and Mommy and Daddy is not sure what happened to me in the past, but I will not go downstairs! Well this is my story so far, I will keep you updated on my progress.
