Proud pet parent of:

Mimi, my 11 year old rottie-lab mix.
Dax, my 19 month old cat,
and Sady, my 5 month old terrier mix.

How we met:

Well, Mimi just wondered into my yard one day, so I took her in. Sady and Dax were rescues.

Pet likes:

Mimi loves cornbread! I have no idea why, but she loves it. And Pudding cake. But she's so picky, she won't eat dog treats. Sady likes any and everything! Dax likes to sleep on my chest at night.

Pet dislikes:

Mimi doesn't like dog treats of any kind. I've tried them all! Sady, well, she doesn't have any dislikes! LoL! Dax doesn't like water, but I figure you already guessed that. :)

Pet’s favorite spot:

Mimi has her own coutch. That's her favorite spot to sleep and chill. Dax's favorite spot is on top of the coutch. And Sady likes to sleep on Mimi's stomack.

Pet’s favorite toy:

Right now Mimi's favorite toy is a stuffed elephant named Ellie. Sady's favorite is Jonathon's shoes and Dax's favorite is these little colorful feathers with a bell tied to a stretchy string. He goes nuts for it. He also likes to chase flashlight beams.

Pet’s silliest habit:

I can't think of any silly habits at the moment, but as soon a I do, I'll type them in.

Pet’s sweetest moments:

With Mimi it's when were outside in the yard and she'll come up to me and lay her head on my lap and I'll just rub and massage her back and legs. I love those moments because I know she does. I massage her everyday because she has arthritis.
With Dax it's when he comes and lay's on my chest and he's purring and wanting me to pet him. His purring is very soothing. With Sady it's the same as Dax, minus the purring! :)

I crack up when my pet:

When Dax is coming down the hall and I look over at him! He'll freeze in mid step and stare at me, and if I look away, he'll sneak a little closer. Then I'll look, and he'll freeze again and this will go on until he reaches me and pounces. I love it!

My pet is unique because:

They all have their different personalities and quirks. I always know that at some point in the day I'm gonna smile because of them. I might even cry with happiness because of them. They make me whole. Their unconditional love means the world to me.
