Garlic can also cause skin irritations, burns, blisters, and excessive gas. In my opinion the potential risks of feeding garlic outweighs any perceived benefits. Once again, I am finding that we fail and are willing to subject our dogs to potential…

Let me remind you that the toxic levels remain undetermined. What if the toxic threshold is crossed with his or her very next treat or meal? Feed what you like to YOUR dog but don't suggest what they should do to their dog. In the last ten years, mo…
You may completely agree with it, however a lot of dogs do not agree and end up very ill, and some unable to save. Garlic is toxic in trace amounts, I have studied it, examined it and seen what it could do. It is not good for your dog, I am not look…
I've heard adding brewer's yeast to the dog's diet can help too, but never tried it. I have tried skin so soft bath oil and have found it to work pretty well, but when the fleas are bad I have to apply it every two or three days. I am in a similar s…
Cal. very curious dog is always looking for something to get into to. They are just like children, you have to fully lock things up. He know, realizes how he can open the dog food closet door. I didn't know dogs could open closet doors. He can, so k…
I suppose it was a bargain, however, when you call up poison control for people you do not have to pay a fee to get help. As soon as I called the number before even asking me what the emergency was they talked about the fee. I was in such panic mode…
It's so true, we must keep our homes with the intentions of keeping it baby proof because our boys and girls will always be our babies because they do not know any better no matter how old they may be. I'm alo replying to Silver Wolf because the pic…
Dogs should be the ones called the curious george instead of cats. My dog has gotten into more things around the house than any of my cats even have. It's a good thing that you where able to save her before the gum had a chance to cause any damage.…
It also sounds like revere sneezing which seems to be common in dogs. My beagle has it. It's when she sneezes inward instead of outwards and it doesn't sound like a sneeze but more so like a gagging cough.
Hey Guys,
I just had he biggest scare of my life tonight...!
I wasn't feeling well so I decided that I would go to sleep early. I was just drifting off when I heard Zoey, my 1 and a half year old beagle chewing something. So I jumped out of bed, t…
My fiance and I wanted to get a puppy for my Dad for Father's Day, so we stopped in at our local Pet Shop and told the store employee our price range. She brought us Zoey girl who was a clearance puppy. We fell in love with her right away. The second she walked in the room she jumped on my lap and started kissing me right away. I knew at that moment that we had to get her! Needless to say she became more my dog than my Dad's-though he loves her very much! =)
