- **thank you so much for all of you who have been praying and hoping for Johnny cash's return. It means soo much to me. i've been through a lot, and johnny cash is one who kept me going through each day, so having him gone is such a loss. i still have hope tho that he will return soon. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!
Also, Gaffin is no longer with me anymore. He went to a barn and got lost. Somebody found him and took him to the pound and got adopted. I hope he is in a loving home. **

- How we met:
- Maggie (black lab), showed up at my house in 2004 with her ribs sticking out, patches of hair missing and very malnourished. At the age of 6 months she weighed only 35 lbs. After many visits to the vet and loving care, she is now almost 4 and weighs a healthy 95 lbs!
Emma (mutt), showed up outside of the dorms where I go to college in 2006. She was malnourished, had mange and was covered in at least 50 ticks. She was around 6 months old at the time and is now doing great with her sister Maggie!
Lucky Kettle came from a great breeder in the year 2004 at the age of 8 weeks. She has been healthy and happy all of her life. She lives with my roommate and I at college.
Hope came from a beagle rescue. She is only 7 months old right now so she still has a lot of puppy in her! She is very cuddly and LOVES to play. She gets a long great with her sister Lucky!
Chandler (orange cat) is almost 4 years old. He showed up a couple months before Maggie did at the age of about 6 or 7 months. He is doing great now, but is very ornrey!!! He is big and fluffy and weighs around 15 lbs.
COLBY (grey and white) just turned 9! He has been through so much in his life and is a very fortunate kitty. He was adopted from the SPCA at 6 weeks old. At the age of 3 he was hit by a car and suffered form a concussion, broke both his upper and lower jaw, lost his right eye and the ability to eat on his own for a month. He lost 8lbs during his battle and is now back to 15 lbs. Without the care of the vet and my family and I, he would not be around today.
Johhny Cash (black fluffy cat) is the sweetest cat anybody will probably ever meet. He comes when is name is called and tends to act like a dog. He LOVES to cuddle and be held and has the sweetest meow. He loves to be outside when the weather is nice but also enjoys the indoors. He resides with Lucky and Hope. He also gets along pretty well with most dogs!
Tucker (tiny orange and white DLH) lovea to cuddle and play with Miley. He lovees to bounce around and jump from counter to counter! He is soo lovable and sweet.

Bluestar's Prophecy was great too. Made me want to start all over again with the first book. Would make about the sixth time I have done that.
Just finished the first book of her new series, it was good. I liked it and it seemed more like her old style of writing.I ordered the second book already. Read on Warrior fans!

Enjoy the semester off, your young and have plenty of time to finish! Besides, I don't want you rooting for the Sooners and jynxing Mizzou in the Big 12 title game :) I'm betting this year it will be the same 2 teams there...unless KU can pull off an upset of Mizzou - they're the only one with a chance and all 3 are top teams.
Miley is awesome looking...and Hope is - well a normal young beagle that is so full of nervous energy! They are so stubborn :)
Here's to Lucky's health, that's kind of common in dogs. We had a lab/pit mix that had those and was so strong that on real bad seizures he'd knock the kitchen table upside down. I know his bones had to hurt after that. Put him on meds and he was fine the rest of his life. Glad Lucky is!
It's great hearing from you. Guess you're back in school now - did you bring Hope with you?

That is a job made for you, except on weekends when they have the mobile adoptions I'd want to take them all home!
Summer's been up and down, had a trip to Vegas which was great but wanted to go to Tahoe except the check enging light came on with the rental car so stayed in Vegas - and I won :)
Thursday I'm going in for surgery and not looking forward to that! It's a hernia, so nothing major but still hate it!
Then in July I AM going to Lake Tahoe, it's all booked (frequent flyer miles covered flight was the only way I could do it!). I love to travel!
How about you, any vacation plans? LOL - working at petsmart is kind of a vacation!

We're great and thanks for the hugs - right back at you with an extra slobber and a treat from Jack...I'm teaching him to share them and he's kind of getting it :)

Are you home from school yet? Bet it was hard to study with dynamite going off all around you - LOL! If he's like Jack, he hates when you get on the computer too, gives that beagle noise that humans cannot immitate.
