Sally Marie Santiago! She is a beautiful purebred Bassethound who actually was abused, too. :( I got her about 4 years ago.
How we met:
an owner couldn't take care of her anymore.
Pet likes:
human food, sleeping, sunbathing, treats, laying on furniture, being with the crowd
Pet dislikes:
being alone, going to the groomer, and visiting the Vet.
Pet’s favorite spot:
sunspots
Pet’s favorite toy:
a mini tug-o-war...she doesn't play too much and it isn't because she is a lazy basset! It's actually because the last owner didn't care of her teeth, and so many had to be pulled. But she has her caines and few back molers.
Pet’s silliest habit:
drooling when asleep, laying on you if your sitting where she wants to
Pet’s sweetest moments:
when you come home from school or work and she gets really excited
I crack up when my pet:
falls asleep without closing her eyelids, when food gets stuck on her ears
Thanks for your comment! She's the greatest dog ever! I just want everyone to enjoy her as much as I do without being scared of her. I'm tired if all the negativity people have about her because of her breed even before getting to know her. Thanks for your support! Sally looks adorable.
Thanks, he's a good boy...when he's not chasing my cats that is. This is my first purebred GSD. I had a mix breed for 14 yrs. She was great! Bruin is young so he'll improve with age. Sally is very cute! It's so nice that you were able to give her a better home.
Its so cool to have somedoggie that understands you :) There are times that I think Patch is the only one that does really get me!! I just saw some of your pics, just too sweet!

Sorry, you are wrong. There are 200 times as many welfare rancher, tax-subsidized cows as horses. They are destroying the range. The horses are not starving. I have lived in wild horse country for 16 years and I see them myself- happy, healthy and f…
