Butsey's mom abandoned him, in a yard, near me, he had a hole in his hind leg, maggots were in it, infection in his eye, mom probably thought he wouldn't make it, He was 2 wks old I took him to the vet, grew attached to him during his recovery and took him home,,he is 14 now.LeeLee was left in front of an animal hsp. a friend of ours works at, she was loaded with worms, about 3wks old, I adopted her She is 2 years old now,,
Pet likes:
Butsey spends his waking hours staring at me, he "does" love me, a beautiful gentle boy..He has thyroid (hper) & now has pancreatic inflammation, we are hoping he doesnt have cancer, which often times accompanies this disease, so we pray that the meds will work, and that he will get better LeeLee, is a joy, a more intelligent cat I have not met,,I live on the 3rd floor, and have a rather nice sized apt,,very sunny,,and many windows,,in the sunporch I have my computer, and I open all the windows, I live in Ravenswood, which in Chicago,,is known for its many trees, so all the tops of the trees are right outside my windows,,and LeeLee, has her own little jungle, she runs from window to window, a different site at each one, she growls at birds,,she will crouch and shake her butt, when a pigeon lands on the sill,,she naps right under the windows, so summer is her time,,they are both adorable.
Pet dislikes:
LeeLee ,,when I scold her..(usually tearing window screens apart with her nails),,she will literally sass me back, and slouch away, it is a totally different meow,,Butsey as I said, is my gentle boy,,
Pet’s favorite spot:
Butsey,, near me,,LeeLee on a window sill..
Pet’s favorite toy:
Butsey is not a toy boy,,,LeeLee,,the top ring of a milk carton, if she can sneak one,,
Pet’s silliest habit:
Butsey plays "flippy" with me,,he rubs against my legs,,I put my hands under his stomach and flip him up a bit, his ears flip up,,and then I roll his tail with my hands, he walks away and then circles back,,LeeLee loves to be combed,,she is so happy to be groomed
Pet’s sweetest moments:
afternoon naps
I crack up when my pet:
LeeLee jumps up in the air before she runs away,,,,when Butsey used to wait for me at the door,,now he sleeps alot
My pet is unique because:
they are both unique, in that they make me feel their love,,

C.U.R.S. can need any number of fosters at a given time - depending on
as needed basis. There are always more dogs than foster homes. We
gladly accept fosters in any area of the U. S. and have even had Canada
fosters.
This rescue is dedicated to helping Catahoula Leopard Dogs, Curs, and
mixes (dogs and/or cats). The organization PAYS all vet expenses and
provides meds. Fosters supply loving home, food, toys, etc. We place
our dogs and pups in homes that we feel will provide a safe, nurturing
environment. Catahoulas are active dogs and do need at least one hour
of exercise a day to keep them healthy and happy.
Annies.. horse breeding is a huge problem today. Far worse than it's ever been. But you're right, breeders should know better but they don't. Everyone thinks their mare, or stallion is fantastic.. but they aren't. Most of the time lineage is average…
Just because you don't does not ean it is wrong. People from India do not deand that we do not eat cow because they do not. You are not forced to eat any type of food. I had a teacher who ate it and he said that it was interesting. It is both sweete…
Megan, the problem (and sorry, I know this is an old post!!) is that there is an over-population of horses because of breeding. Also, there are horses bred for various reasons and they don't have a chance.. think of all the thoroughbreds born that n…
I do agree with that. In most places I have gone to the animals were in no distress. I am glad the farm near you was shut down if they were. I was able to go to a Jimmy Dean saughter plant, and they slaughtered in the most humane way that I think is…
yes you are right. this is an animal site, not a site for slandering 7 year old girls. i hope you get all the money you need and then some. i do not donate that way call me weird or what i do my donating in secret with no self bravado. thankyou for y…
Tyson,
You may consider once again making your apologies known to the ASPCA for your inaccurate posted misinformation about Justice. You expect others here to send off a donation just because one or two people had misinformation - one already retra…
