I would try what Matthew suggests the pedicure. The only thing I do not like about it is it takes a lot of time, and the dogs become inpatient, well Cal does. I try to get all 30 dogs done in one day, not a easy task. Especially, when Cal plays hide…
Sorry to keep asking you questions. However I must state that a lot of dogs with separation anxiety do itch, chew, and lick themselves to the point of infection. I'm going now to go back to the beginning. You have taken your dog off corn based foods…
I would look into something called the pedicure. Its a filing band that doesn't cut the nails, it's not painful to the dog at all. My dog used to be the same way, he's gotten used to the pedicure, plus it saves a lot of money
In regards to 'My Dogs Paws' my boy is an incessant paw licking as well and will even chew the pads off. This happens when he walks on Wondering Dew that aweful plant that grows prolificly along fence lines, easy to pull out but hard to get rid of.…

Surprisingly not at all, he has no problem at all running up to a complete stranger, he'll act like he's known them forever. I do think he has some separation anxiety. When I go to leave the house he sits in the window and watches me drive away, if…
An allergic "reaction" can last for months even after the allergen is eliminated or reduced. He could still be allergic to one of the ingredients in the food you are using... it can be extremely difficult to figure out what without an elimination diet which takes 6 mos. or more. Best bet would be to get a skin scaping from a veterinarian who specializes as an allergist, and who could also eliminate possibility of internal parasites that you aren't aware of. Good luck to you.

And that is fine for you, but most people do enjoy eating meat. I respect your decision, but I do not embrace it. I have a friend who is vegan, but we agree to disagree. The way of nature is predation. I do not relish the thought of slaughter, but w…
No, this is not typical of the dogs, any dog can get brain tumors, as they get older. Pit Bulls are like any other dog. If it had human aggressions, it was because it was not treated or brought up right.

Hello All. I have been indirectly associated with FMF since early 2005. I have been friends with Nancy's children and Nancy for years, and have visited the farm myself. The animals are well cared for--they are fed properly and given the proper medic…
Any breed can be made mean. Pits start out sweet like any other dogs. You got some good advice going there, start socializing your pup now, otherwise around 7 or 8 months when Dog Aggression starts to show up, you're gonna have a hand full. My pit w…
No it's not fair, but that's the way it usually is for us pit owners. At least he isn't making you get rid of the dog as some of the pit owners around here have had to do.
