Comet (a Chocolate Lab) and Hopey (a Beagle/Springer Spaniel)
How we met:
We got Comet from a friend who's lab had puppies 8 years ago. I inherited Hopey from and ex-boyfriend who was not too kind to her. Luckily, she finally has a great, loving home.
Pet likes:
Comet is really laid back and enjoys cuddling, playing with toys (mostly tug of war), and eating. Hopey enjoys mostly cuddling, and will let you know if she is feeling ignored.
Pet dislikes:
Hopey does not like to be ignored. She also does not like going outside when the ground is wet. Comet doesn't have many dislikes. His only one is baths.
Pet’s favorite spot:
They both love to run to the corner of the yard to conversate with their two puppy friends from next door. After they're done barking for a couple minutes, all 4 go on their merry way.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Comet's favorite toys are stuffed animals. He will carry them everywhere and sleep with them. Hopey just likes whatever toy Comet is playing with.
Pet’s silliest habit:
Comet barks at everything. Even poles if we're in the car and going past one! Hopey will start talking to you if she is being ignored or wants something.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
Comet will share my pillow with me at night. It's so sweet how he loves to cuddle. When I wake up every morning, Hopey has to come give me kisses and get her cuddling in.
I crack up when my pet:
Comet barks with toys in his mouth, it's soo hilarious. Hopey when she speaks sounds so funny.
My pet is unique because:
Comet is a lab, so naturally labs wonder off. Comet has never left the yard and is so laid back, and always happy. Hopey is super smart, and very sneaky. She will steal things and hide them. We won't find them until she decides to bring them out.

Hello. I was scrolling through the list of members when I came across your name and picture. I noticed you dog Hopey looks similar to my dog Scout. I adopted Scout from a local shelter and they told me he was an Australian Shepard/Border Collie mix, but that was their guess. You have your dog listed as a Beagle/Springer Spaniel. I'm just wondering if you know that for sure. It may help me with the key of figuring out what breed my dog is. My vet keeps telling me to wait until he is full grown to get a better guess but my curiosity gets the best of me sometimes :)

Thank you for clearing this up for the naysayers. It started with a post on my part to get donations for your organization and it turned into hideous mud slinging venture. The guerrilla tactics are disgusting by these few.
I have no doubt they have…
