Welcome to my hell, they never get shaggy, but they shed enough hair to build another dog every month. Just some advise, fish oil in his food makes his coat shiny and is good for his hips

sorry i didnt reply sooner, been having computer problems. we do love him very much he is a sweet heart, a big old teddy bear. i am glad to say it has been about a month and he now is walking with a moderate limp on his right rear. he has his personality back and appears unfased by it. we are hoping for continued improvment
