Proud pet parent of:

Riley - 5 years old but still spry as a puppy, my rescue mutt is as cute as ever, and loves playing with old socks and chasing waves at the beach.

Agatha and Gish - two kitties who are up there in years, in the past they used to love playing with their kitty toys and pouncing out from behind corners, these days they live with Mom and Dad and love relaxing in the reclining chairs on their laps and getting scratched until bed time!

How we met:

Agie and Gish - We adopted these two when they were only a few months old from the shelter after my last cat, Calico, passed away at age 17. After a frightening ordeal with Gish we found out he had severe asthma and allergies. After not expecting him to be around for too long, he's still with us now pushing 15 years old!!

Riley - Riley was camped out in front of PetSmart with the Ariel Rescue folks looking for a home...one look at pup's face and I put my foot down that we were getting him. A few days later my boyfriend and I were heading home with a sweet new puppy!

Pet likes:

Rolling in the grass, going to the beach, playing with toys (especially the old socks!), meeting other dogs in the neighborhood, going for rides in the car, watching Animal Planet when my owners go out.

Pet dislikes:

When my owners leave I get so lonely! They leave the TV on for me and make sure I have lots of toys to chew on and food and water, but it's still exciting when they come back!

I also don't like eating my dog food when my owners get to eat people food! I know it's more healthy for me but I would much rather have enchiladas!

Pet’s favorite spot:

1. Bed by the window
2. Blankie "nest" on the couch
3. Under the covers in bed
4. Bed in the closet

Pet’s favorite toy:

Socks! I love socks even though my owners buy me all sorts of other toys!! I also like chewing on rawhides, but my owners don't buy me as many because I was burying them in the back yard and then bringing them back in the house weeks later! They think it's gross, but I love it when the wet soil makes my chews all soft!

Pet’s silliest habit:

When I play with my sock I love to roll on my back with it in my mouth and bat it around with my paws! I also love playing under the comforter in the bedroom and wriggling around in the grass at the park!

Pet’s sweetest moments:

When I want to cuddle with my owners I creep up to the head of the bed in the morning and snuggle between them. Maybe it bugs them a little but I'm just too cute to resist! I've also heard that they think it's cute when I have puppy dreams in my sleep!

I crack up when my pet:

My owners think it's funny when I chase my tail and run around the apartment! Sometimes I get so excited playing I just take off running in circles!

My pet is unique because:

Riley dog is unique because he is loving and sweet, and very protective of me. He looks like such a lover, but if someone new knocks on the door he is very alert to why they are here at first! For some reason he also is not fond of little kids :( We suspect this is because of bad experiences in his past homes, as he was adopted and returned several times before we found him. All in all he is the best pet in the world, we only wish we could have seen him as a puppy!
