- How we met:
- I was working at a local vet and the Doc's son was fostering for the Pit Bull Rescue. I adopted Percy, one of his fosters, and he later told me about Ruby. Carly is a Rat Terrier that was resuced from being a breeder in a puppy mill, I adopted her at an event at our local Petsmart.

Service Dog Banned in KCK

Last week, as part of a project I am involved in, I interviewed Lee Padgett, a woman with a disability who has been living in KCK since around 2000. Ms. Padgett has bipolar disorder and is on disability. She owns a service dog, which she trained herself, named Frisco. I just read what was posted on one of your sites, wow, and I was beginning to think you were one of the few of this group that had a bit of intelligence. I was wrong.
The market is flooded with products that make bold claims and then never deliver. Many of these products are perfectly marketed so that people buy them and never return them once they do not work.

We are basicialy going to offer education (non-accredited) of topics like "Anatomy & Physiology" "Veterinary Office Mgmt." "Diagnostic Imaging" "Pharmacology" "First Aid" "Post-Op Care" and more!!!

I started out as a Kennel Tech also. It wasn't very pretty.. but as they saw that I could do my job.. more BETTER jobs came along.. I was kind of playing two roles.. I was the kennel tech and a vet tech in some senses. I would do all of my kennel tech duties.. then I would come out and help them. I think I was doing like Fecals (nothing like playing in poop lol).. I was drawing blood.. filling meds.. and that kind of stuff. I am a vet tech right now.. will be a RVT in less than a year. I am a pre-vet student also. So, I want to let people know.. they don't need to take their animal to the vet, for something they could do at home. BUT THEY NEED TO KNOW HOW to do it.
