Eva, a 1-year old boxer and Spirit, an 11-year old short hair black (diabetic) cat.
How we met:
Spirit was a gift from my sister, when she had to bring Spirit home from her first year of college, as she realized kittens grow into cats! I was happy to have him, though :)
Eva was a special girl my fiancee and I decided to check out at a boxer breeder 1.5 hours away from our place in Wilmington, NC and we just fell in love with her the moment we saw her! We wanted a puppy, but our next boxer will definitely be a rescue!
Pet likes:
Can you say food, more food and lots of love and attention?! Just like any other pet, and these two (our babies) get it all and they get it all the time! :)
Pet dislikes:
Eva dislikes it when mommy cuts up apples and doesn't give them to her as a treat right away.........I just do it to get her excited! :)
Spirit doesn't like being left alone too much, he is definitely my baby and follows me around everywhere! He pretty much can't live without food, so that is probably his one dislike-when I take too long to get up in the morning to feed him!
Pet’s favorite spot:
Spirit, wherever there is a spot of sunshine, or under a table or couch, playing hide-and-seek.
Eva's is on our laps, on the couch, or on our bed!!
Pet’s favorite toy:
Eva's is anything that squeaks.
I'm quite certain that Spirit's favorite "toy" is his food bowl. Exercising/playing does not really top his list of favorite things to do.
Pet’s silliest habit:
Eva is truly a boxer and uses her paws to play, which is so cute. She also sticks her butt up in the air when she is playing and pushes ice cubes around the floor with her paws.
Spirit likes when we pet his backside and sticks it way up in the air, kind of like his canine sister.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When they are asleep and look so peaceful! :)
I crack up when my pet:
When Eva gets all riled up and when Spirit tries to meow but no sound comes out!
My pet is unique because:
They are both unique because they are mine :) (everyone says that about their babies!)

Hey i completed your survey for ya! About owning 2 dogs i have 2 toys lelo and zena Zena is 8. lelo is 4, zena was bought as a puppy and we had yoda at the time. Boxers are short haired so grooming is not a huge issue!r.. Lelo was adopted at the age of 1 and when we had them meet, they played together and seemed to get along fine, however zena did get jealous over the next few weeks she was sad and didn;t want to play.. My advice is to get a dog a little bit younger than your sweetie (he is so cute), try and see if u can introduce them in your back yard as your dog will defend inside the house, until they get to know each other.. I would get a male, as their is not dominance problems.. But u must be aware double the poop, food, vet bills and lets not forget LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.. I never regreted getting lelo at all, they are pack animals and love to play.
If u can see if the shelter will let you foster the dog to make sure that he will get along with your dog.. Is she around alot of other dogs and does she socialize well with them?? Those are key questions, as intially they will play, but once u bring the new dog in (perfect time is just as you move into your house) u may have some issues,
Now my dogs love each other and even though it's 2 females they love each other.. So go for it!!
Let me know how it goes cheers from wanda/lelo/zena!

awww, I am so happy that you get to see your girl soon!! I know that you have waited to see her for a long time. Things with Daisy and I are going good. Staying busy as always. So everything going well with your school?
Kayla is in New Zealand not America, in NZ animal breeding is ok.
Our shelters are not fill like America's.
Kayla can you please answer the questions listed below.
Are all your animals registered?
Is your breeding "stock" purebred?
and have you ...
awwww, that is soooo sweet of you, thanks, but no thanks, I'm tired of hearing your whining and trash talk, and I wouldn't want you to waste your precious energy you need to go tattle tale, I thought people these days were moe mature, but I guess ...
okey answers to your questions
1)i dont like them, they contribute to the animal population
2)no, they do it from instinct. if they are fixed, the instict and hormones goes away
3) if the doe rabbit was spayed, it wouldnt do that
The Discussion started with 3 simple questions
Q1. Why do ppl hate animal breeders?
Q2. Have you realized that animals want to be bred?
Q3. Have you seen a adult doe rabbit who pulls its fur and makes nests because it wants to
have babies?
Un...
