Ghost Flowers

Ok. We finally have a student organization that deals with animal cruelty (think ASPCA, kind of) at the university I am in. We rescue animals from the streets and have them taken to vets to get checked up and stuff like that. These animals usually stay at the veterinary clinic or at foster homes. The thing is, the foster homes are getting full and so is the clinic, so we're planning on opening an animal shelter with donations.

Yes, sorry if I haven't been on here in forever. I've been extremely busy with college. But I bring pictures of my two new pet hamsters. They're russian hamsters -- tiny ones. They're both female because they didn't have males. I first had gotten one but I noticed she was lonely. That's when I realized that they were both sisters! So I went back to the pet shop and got the other one...they're very happy now :)

It's been a year since my cat Benji was laid to rest thanks to the idiot I have as a neighbor who, in raged, decided to take it out on my kitty by hitting him in the face and basically, killed him.

R.I.P. Benji, I miss you terribly. I rather have you gone to a better place instead of living in pain :(

I don't have pictures of my cats, I'm sorry to say. But I do know their breeds. So, lets get to it.

Sometimes I do. At least in the U.S. you don't really see animals as road kill on the streets all the time. I hate the fact that people don't care about animals here. I can't even count the times I've seen people walking by and beating dogs with sticks. By experience, because my dog gets beaten all the time, either with sticks, rocks or cars running him over. It's not right. I really wish cruelty towards animals would stop. What fault do they have of anything?
