I agree COMPLETELY! However am still not quite sure why the baby would have to only go to GA. licensed (by agriculture) rescue. Is it only allowed to live in that state because GOD says so?? Doesn't make much sense to me, however I may just not have…

We have recently rescued a Pug mix-I believe part border collie- who is the sweetest boy. Upon bathing him, I found bite marks and old scars all over his face yet he is still just as sweet as can be. He is black, and will be neutered this Friday but…

Proud pet parent of:
chineese pug
How we met:
runt of the litter, he was pushed off the tit. owner gave him to me as she thought that he wasn't going to make it, so i raised him off of goat milk, and now he is too tall to even show!
Pet likes:
to go for rides in the truck, or to just be with "mom"
Pet dislikes:
waiting in the car
Pet’s favorite spot:
on my lap
Pet’s favorite toy:
teddy bears with noses- he likes to chew them off!
Pet’s silliest habit:
licking lotion off my calves after a shower, also loves to lick the chapstick off of my lips
Pet’s sweetest moments:
when something scares him, he runs right to my arms and gives me the most gentlest kisses
I crack up when my pet:
falls asleep on the back of the couch and falls off on to the arm and cushions. he has "that look" of 'who pushed me'-
My pet is unique because:
several years ago I used to have seizures- but everytime that I would fall out, he would just start screaming - to alert someone- and sit right on top of my chest. my father said the he was the first thing that I would look for after.

I would not really recomend teddies..pits have really strong chewing desires and tear them up very easily. nylabones work well and many of the very hard rubber toys. All of the pits I have worked with tear the stuffing out of the stuffed toys within the first 24 hours.

Hi, I signed the petition "maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy." I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Here are the basics of the case:

Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven month old fox terrier puppy near Mackay at the weekend.

If found guilty, they could face up to two years in prison. Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone which shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it hacked to pieces with garden shears and a pocked knife.

They said the owners were too distressed to talk to anyone about it.

The pups nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured.

The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four month jail term.

WE BELIEVE THESE MEN SHOULD RECIEVE THE MAXIMUN PENALTY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THIS SADISTIC, DISGUSTING ACT.

To sign the petition, please copy and paste the following link:

please ask your vet:

This is from the FRONT page of THIS ASPCA community site:
Medical Questions:

Please, please, please do not submit questions about emergency medical problems here. If you think that your pet is sick, contact your veterinarian. Self-diagnosis or delay seeking proper veterinary care may worsen your pet's condition.

Everyone, please respect this. Its common sense to seek help from your vet. We are just regular folks here and your pet desserves the best care.

That isn't fair at all.... in my tiny town of 300 people they tried to make strict laws on how you must restrain a pit.. we own two.. the law said you must keep them on a 3 foot long chain, not a rope, when they were off your property (no leash law…
