Update: It took about 24 hours of our worrying and my clearing out the goo in Daisy's mouth a couple of times, but they are now both their old selves again.

We just had them out of the coop and Daisy had an odd sticky film forming in her mouth. I got it out with my finger and she perked up a bit. Pepper was upset and gaspy.

Daisy and Pepper, 6 week old pullets, got into some vegetable fertilizer. There's no way to know how much they ate. Now Daisy, the one more likely to gorge herself, is listless and snoozey, very unlike herself.
