How we met:

Well, with my dogs we met by looking in the paper and internet and then picked them up. My guinea pigs we got at Petco and same with my hamster Bubbles. One dog, Taylor we got from a shelter, and Jasper we got from my dads friend. We got Lily from a breeder and she was in bad shape, too skinny, had a weird cough and she SMELLED! It took a lot of baths to get her smelling better. And Gunther and Bailey we got from different breeders. But they have a great home with us now and are WAY TOO SPOILED, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that!!!!

Pet likes:

Our dog's like whatever the other dog has! The two big boys fight over the smallest, cheapest toys there are, we have like a thousand toys and they tear them apart. Gunther my puppy loves food. Period. He eats like it's his first meal in weeks at every meal, and he'll eat anything on the ground. Bailey likes to sleep in this oversized leather chair we have upside down, he is too cute. And Lily likes to sunbathe and sleep under the covers, especially when the heating blanket is on.

Pet dislikes:

Lily HATES the cold. During winter she pees and poops in the house, she just refuses to go outside, we live in northern Wisconsin so we get a lot of snow and we have to shovel a path in the backyard so she'll go out. And Bailey HATES getting his ears done, and when he sees us go for the cabinet where the cleaning stuff is, he runs for his chair and lays upside down and buries his ears so we can't get to them. And we can't get to them, we have to lift his head, and last time he was grumpy and growled at us! And Gunther doesn't like not being able to eat like 60 meals a day, he eats ANYTHING!

Pet’s favorite spot:

Bailey's favorite spot is HIS oversized leather chair(the most comfortable chair and he never shares it!). Lily will sleep wherever it's warm, sunbathe outside, cuddled up with heating blanket, under the covers, during winter she lays in front of heating vent, she's a weirdo! Gunther likes my bed, I can tell he loves finally being big enough to climb up himself, he'll jump up the side and go right back down like 30 times a day.

Pet’s favorite toy:

Well I said above they fight over whatever the other one has. But Bailey can't go to sleep without a stuffed animal, his two favorite are a frog and a dog, no one else is allowed to touch those. Lily likes cleaning toys, she will lay there and lick all the boy cooties off the toys, but she likes the little stuffed toys like a little frog we have and she will stand there and just squeak it for the longest time. And Gunther likes hard things since he's teething, he has these little white bones that you don't eat, it's just for chewing, and he loves those.

Pet’s silliest habit:

Bailey's habit is really cute, when he's tired and needs a nap, he'll go get his stuffed dog, stand in the hallway, and he'll wait for my dad to take a nap with him, and if he doesn't come he'll leave for the room and come back and he'll keep doing it until he get's too tired and will go up on the bed by himself. And Lily is funny, if I get my shoes on she starts jumping on me whining the whole time until I walk out the door. She is a really smart dog. And Gunther, I kind of taught him this, but anytime anyone goes to get ice from the freezer for their drink he comes up and sits there and waits to get an ice cube, every time. He loves ice cubes, and it has to help with his teething.

Pet’s sweetest moments:

Well I think it's the sweetest when one of them goes to get a drink and another one will lick their lips because obviously it's too hard to get up and get a drink themselves! Haha. And I love it when they cuddle together, when Jasper was still with us, Lily my mini dachshund would lay in the middle of them to keep warm, I have a picture of them doing that. And also when Jasper was still with us and I would cry, he would actually lick my tears away, we were best friends, I have severe depression and he knew when I needed him, and I would just cuddle with him, there is nothing better than to come home and just see those happy faces and tails going like a propellor at 90 mph.

I crack up when my pet:

I crack up when my 12.6 lb mini dachshund can be the boss of my other two golden retrievers. If they mess with her, her hair stands straight up and she'll bite their nose, ears, or lips, and they know to stand back. She is the Princess in the house and you don't mess with Princess Lily! And my puppy Gunther, well everything he does cracks me up, he does summersalts when playing, sounds like a bear when he growls, and so much more. And Bailey is funny when he farts, like most dogs he turns back really quick and stares at his cute butt with the cutest face wondering what the hell that was.

My pet is unique because:

Bailey is unique because he has epilepsy and skin and ear problems, but that's just physical. He is just so sweet and innocent, and that makes him unique that even with all the physical stuff he has such a big heart. And my little princess Lily came from a weird home, she was way too thin, smelled like urine, and afraid. Had a fear of going in a bathroom which I think is where they kept her. And still to this day is afraid of loud noises, and a fly swatter. But now she has brought so much love into our home, she is such a special girl and uniqe in every way. And Gunther we just got a month or two ago but has already brought so much to us. He has helped with my depression so much, I have no friends and all I would do is lay in bed. But with a puppy you don't have time to lay down, and that has helped me so much. So for that I owe him a lot, he is so sweet and has his own unique part in our family like the others.
