Your dog needs to learn to trust again and that can take a long time. You should assume a "leadership" role (that doesn't mean dominating your dog or being negative), so that she feels secure and comfortable. Don't reward excessively shy behavior, that can just reinforce it. Try to be as understanding and patient as you can, and work to introduce her to situations step by step (you can use rewards/treats) slowly so that she gains confidence. It will take some time (she needs to learn that you won't abandon her) but it WILL work. Try watching Victoria Stillwell's program you will enjoy it and it will give you confidence in yourself.
