- Sooo, what kind of pets do you have/had? As you can see, I'm currently a cat person with three Maine Coons. I've had Persians in the past, and dogs. But our lifestyle is now more applicable to cats. I love gardening, bird watching, and fishing. Mostly catch and release.

- Hi Viky, Ellen and Viv are correct. Perhaps it's time to close that Lobster Discussion. Belles will continue to harrass and belittle you and your beliefs as long as that particular discussion is active. It was a worthy discussion and makes one think, but when one person's opinion trys to be the absolute correct one, that's when it loses it's usefulness. Each member is entitled to their own beliefs and opinions. Each member should be allowed to express them without drawing unwarranted attacks and "bitch slapping" from her. She's well known here to attack others who don't go along with her personal beliefs. Many members here can attest to that. She is a great anti-abuse activist for pets and has the resources to pursue her interests, but that's about it.

- Why is it ok to kill lobsters in a boiling pot of water or steamer? I don't care how suitable it is to the eye of the customers...Can't they just split the head in half and take the animal out of his misery? ...instead of steaming or boiling them to death..
