We have our Golden Retriever (Braden) Bradens alittle over two years old now, and then we have a winnie dog (beanie winnie) who just turned one this month (Dec 2008), 1 Quarker Parrott hes 14 years old, hes a rescue, 1 cat (Zoie) shes a rescue also, large fish tank. As we call it our own small petting zoo....lol

How we met:

Well I grewup on a farm outside Nashville so Im a serious animal lover. We always had Black Labs while i was at home. I had wanted a golden retriever for many years and to be honest it took me almost 6 years of begging to get Braden.....Braden is the sweetest dog, he's not a rescue we drove alittle over 3 hours to get Braden from a breeder. But after we brought him home my partner of almost 7 years feel in love with him. My partner is one of those types that is not that crazy about having animals in our home. But I finally broke him in with having animals in our home. I feel you can still have a beautiful home while still having your babies there to enjoy it with youa.....:)

Now Beanie Winnie we bought from a breeder also. Our nieghbor had bought one and my partner has wanted a lap dog for awhile now so i decided to make it a xmas present. So Beanie Winnie is the newest member of our family.

Now how we ended up with the quarker parrot is a women had him for many years and her new husband would catch her gone to work and threw him and the cage in the closet. I cant spell out birds name i know that awful....But we keep his name that he had when we got him. We had a Blue and Gold Macaw I had always wanted one so we purchased Toshia, I dont know if your guys know how much money wise this animals cost but its wild. But the problem with this type of pet is they only bond with one person. We both grew to be afraid of her. When she almost bit my partners finger off I hate to say this but she had to go. But the women who had the quarker parrot comes into one of my partners stores and she asked him one day if he would take him. She knew we would give him a great home. So we talked about it considering our bad experience with the first bird we had but we decided to take him we felt terrible after we heard the type of life he had lived. Hes finally had came out of his shell after alittle over 2 years now. He says small words and gives you kisses. He loves to nibble as we call it and threws his head back and just laughs.

Now with our cat Zoie shes a rescue. Our neighbor in Charleston where we use to live before my partner was transfered was a vet. Someone had thrown Zoie on the interstate 64 and she was almost run over. Tiffany almost wreck to save this kitten. So we took her as well. She grown into a loving and sweet part of our family.

Braden loves car rides,

Beanie winnie just loves to have attention

Zoie loves to lay on your chest at night when we are in bed

Pet dislikes:

I can not say anything that Braden does not like....lol
