Our kitty Mishi has a habit of laying down with his front feet straight ahead of him and his back feet straight back, so he's one big, flat thing. He also pees on something related to Christmas annually. His new thing is if you shake like, a bottle…

It's been a few days, but I hope your kitty is well! I always talk to my vet about everything, they really wanted to help my kitty and I trusted them. It's so important to be able to talk to your vet!

Sassy had surgery to get her struvite crystals removed. It was so hard to see her like that. I don't know a lot about the surgery decisions you have to make... But I think it would upset Tiger to be alone, but if it will be better in the long run fo…

I am so blessed that my two cats will pretty much let me do anything to them. I even have to use the clippers on my Maine Coons back legs and under his tail. His hair back there gets so long and so thick that he's constantly getting "mess" stuck in…

my sister got a litter box and its like a big tupperware, it has a cap and she has a hole in the top so that they can climb out. it keeps the stink away and the litter doesnt go anywhere.

I had a small pile, literally, outside one box...where I had gotten a smaller pan cuz the two were still kittens, and had a hard time getting in and out of the bigger one. Of course Ceaser used it also, and since he is much bigger, (I think bigger t…

I use the worlds best kitty litter, A corn based litter for my automatic kitty box. It is super, it never comes out of the litter box., I do not have to use mats. It also is an amazing price, 7.99 and it lasts about a month. It is super good for the…

Does anyone use those pellets like they have at the vets office? It looks like plastic pills and has a carbon pad under a screen. The carbon pad absorbs the urine, the plastic pills are washable, and you can scoop out the poo and flush it. I'm reall…

Well, Mishi has long foot fur, but it never seems to gets stuck there, and he really isn't the problem cat. It's more or less Foodbar, who has tiny, tidy paws. But I'll try trimming Mishi.

Dixie, I may have to do this with my Himalayan...he tracks litter EVERYWHERE! I have noticed that he has extremely long fur between his paws, but I have never put two and two together! lol...I need to find somewhere to take him to have it done thoug…

Dixie not all cats have the hair you are speaking of. I currently take care of 8 none of which have ever had sore paw pads or litter in between their digits and I handle their feet a lot as I gently massage them as often as I can. Good for circulati…

Don't blame it all on your litter box. Next time your cat(s) are in your lap take a look at the bottom of their feet. I have to clip the hair on the bottom of my two boys paws regularly. Not only does it collect litter when it gets to long and cause…

Many people have trouble with the covered boxes because they trap the smell inside and cats don't like using them. You could try a big piece of indoor/outdoor carpeting. It catches a lot of the stuff that is in there paws when they jump out. I don't…

Hi Aimee, I just wanted to tell you that I'm really sorry for the loss of your pet. I love my cats so much and have had to put one down before, too, and know how hard it is. I would always save my Sandy a tiny sip of milk from my cereal in the morning. For the longest time after she was gone I would end up crying in my cereal when I would realize she was no longer there to put my bowl down for. It does get better, but it takes a long time. Saying a little prayer for you...
