These videos are highly disturbing. Anyone who gets satisfaction out of watching such abhorrent acts performed on helpless animals is sick, disgusting, and depraved. There was a discussion in the helping animals group about this and thanks to so m...

Phoebe and Charlie are my cats and Callie is my beautiful dog!
How we met:
I first met Charlie at my local shelter. It wasn't long after New Year's and he was one out of only 4 cats left. Since he looks full grown and he was surrounded by kittens, nobody wanted him...Their loss! As soon as I saw him I immediately fell in love!
Pet’s favorite toy:
Most of Callie's favorite toys are not even hers at all! She absolutely loves playing with the cats' toys. There's one in particular, a plush fish cat toy, that she tosses in the air using her mouth and will run after it or try catching it back in her mouth. She's so clever : ) Oh, and there's her pink tennis ball!
Pet’s silliest habit:
Phoebe likes to "talk" (and very loudly) to her toys. She'll stand over the toy, look down on it and just meow continuously until she feels like she's done, I suppose : ) It's strange but quite adorable. Charlie's a talker, too. He roams around the house meowing at the top of his lungs, and usually won't stop until I meow/talk to him for a while. He's quite the conversationalist. LOL.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
The sweetest moments, by far, are the times when all my pets cuddle up together on the dog's bed...All my furry babies, curled up in cute lil' balls, napping on the same bed!
When Callie is sleeping, she'll sometimes leave the tip of her tongue sticking out of her mouth, causing her to do this suck/suckle thing on it. It's like she has a built-in pacifier! (I guess it is more of an adorable moment than it is a sweet one)
I crack up when my pet:
It's hilarious when Callie watches TV with us. Her ears perk up, she sits perfectly still and just stares at the screen.
Charlie cracks me up everyday! I let him out every morning when I leave for work and he'll stay out there for a good amount of the day just wandering around the fields and playing in the dirt...by the time I get home he rushes into the house and heads straight for the litter box! It's like he holds it in all day! He's so silly, I don't think he realizes that the outdoors is a giant potty!
At The Animal Rescue Site, there are many free ways you can help provide care and feeding for animals in shelters and sanctuaries. Did you know you can click once a day, every day at The Animal Rescue Site? That's 365 chances each year to care for animals in need. ~How great is that?! : ) I'm loving this click a day thing. It's so easy and so helpful!
I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.
Yeah I hear ya...there's a difference between "having an accent" and "being a moron" LOL. The two don't have to go together but here's an example of when the two meet!

I think a vet needs to be relaxed, more playful with the animals. I do not like vets, that come in and say "How is your dog doing" Not getting to know them by name, and then just proceed in the exam and then there is no specific information. I wan...
