Profile Information

Proud pet parent of:
rico, the terrorizing jack
How we met:
My coworker wanted to breed her dog just once and asked if I wanted a puppy. I said I love it. but I research the breed first to make sure I was capable of taking care of Rico. Rico started terrorizing his brothers Oliver and Butch and my friend asked if I could come and get him at 5weeks instead of 6. I did and have never regreted my lil terror. He terrorizes my heart to shreds.
Pet likes:
sitting in you lap while I type on the computer and while I watch tv. He think he is a big dog in a little dog body, very protective. he loves little boys that play outside with him.
Pet dislikes:
He doesn't dislike them He just has to have a warming period with children under the age of 4. anyboy over 4 has to have a warming period to rico.
Pet’s favorite spot:
whatever we are in, my daughter, me or my husband.
Pet’s favorite toy:
buddie ithe light blue terry dog at pet smart (Rico is on his third) it is suppose to be indestructable but that have not make that yet.
Pet’s silliest habit:
he his lying on his side and snoozing. he looks up and then his head falls back on his pad.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
coming home with me and my extended family. he and my 10 year old niece are the same age so she and he have grown up together.
I crack up when my pet:
is riding in the pickup with me leaning out the window and his ears are blowing in the wind like that is the best thing that could happen to him
My pet is unique because:
He Rico, there can never be another Rico. I don't ever want him to leave. it will be the hardest thing not just for me, my daughter and husband. But also my father who lost his dog last year at the ripe of age of 18 and my niece who is the same age as Rico

Windshield wipers drive him nuts if we are in the car its hilarious to watch him sit in the passenger seat and try to catch them through the window. It would make me dizzy! He loves motorcycles everytime his daddy gets it out of the garage hes on the seat ready to go!

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/maximum-penalty-for-the-men-who-hacked-up-a-puppy

Hi, I signed the petition "maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy." I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Here are the basics of the case:

Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven month old fox terrier puppy near Mackay at the weekend.

If found guilty, they could face up to two years in prison. Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone which shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it hacked to pieces with garden shears and a pocked knife.

They said the owners were too distressed to talk to anyone about it.

The pups nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured.

The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four month jail term.

WE BELIEVE THESE MEN SHOULD RECIEVE THE MAXIMUN PENALTY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THIS SADISTIC, DISGUSTING ACT.

I've never seen anything like it, and I've lived in a variety of places that get ice storms. And no one was hurt, for which we are incredibly thankful.

This ice storm reminds me of the ice storm we had in New England back in the 70s and we were with out power for a week. Reminded me of the movie Day after Tomorrow. I hope no dogs were hurt during this storm.
