I have many chihuahuas. Also 6 saltwater fish tanks, 6 freshwater tanks. Two frogs, one toad and a corn snake. Three cats, and a rabitt.
Just adopted a part pitbull from a rescue shelter.
How we met:
The chihuahuas came from lots of different places. One was given to me from someone going to college. Some from shelters, the last one from SPCA. Didn't mean to get the last one, but the shelter girl had me hold him, and he wrapped his hands around my wrist, that was it!
Pet likes:
I have found chihuahuas like chihuahuas. I didnt believe it reading it in books, but with mine, I can see it for myself.
They also like to be warm. They have a huge kennel, that doubles as my end table, and I have a heat lamp on in there all the time.
Pet dislikes:
They do not like company. I guess a couple of them don't mind, to much. Dont like dogs in there yard. Hate being cold. They have 2 dressers full of clothes. I make half of them, and the rest I get on clearance, beginning of march.
Pet’s favorite spot:
In their kennel under the heat lamp, on the couch, on my lap, in my bed, outside getting a tan in the summer.
Pet’s favorite toy:
The tiny stuffed toys at Petsmart. They have the chipmonk, frog, duck, just about all the small toys they sell.
Pet’s silliest habit:
When we have visiters, Prudence runs to get a toy to give the person, even if she has never seen them before. My 15 pound one, Booda, does the same, but he brings them a dirty sock. Bella-Boo, the last one I got, has a stuffed ducky, that I truely believe he thinks he gave birth to.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When they stick there belly at me, when they want a belly rub, and when they're sleeping.
I crack up when my pet:
Carries around his baby ducky, and the other gives people the dirty socks.
Hi Elizabeth,
How are you?
I haven't really been around much lately but I just wanted to stop by and say hi.
I have about another 2 weeks of work to catch up on and then hopefully things will get back on schedule and I will have a bit more free time.
Give All Your Babies big Mastiff Kisses from us and hopefully by the time they dry off you will see us again!
Have a great night
peace,
dawn
Hi Erica,
Your concern for Abby is heartfelt. Thank you.
Abby is an 18 month old English Mastiff. She is sweet and has the most soulful eyes. She has been having seizures. We did take her to a Neurology & neurosurgical Hospital for animals on Thursday and has her evaluated & tested. She has No Neurological problems. Good News!
She does suffer from Epilepsy (seizures) which she is on medication for and will be for the rest of her life.
She has not had a seizure since starting the meds. So we pray and love her as much as she will let us.
Thank you once again for your concern. it is greatly appreciated!

Barb,
Each time I get one of those emails, I copy the contents and file a complaint. Same with the catsville discussions that are advertising for something that does not belong here. I've asked that the non-relevant discussions be deleted and the sp…
