- How we met:
- Nakaia's story - I came across an ad online for husky puppies for sale. So after talking with the "Breeder" we decided to drive from RI to PA to meet with the breeder and take our baby girl home. When we got home with Nakaia, she was so skiddish & scared that she hid under my bed for the first month!! After talking with some people, we came to the conclusion that the breeder, who told me personally she had 50 puppies & 60 adult dogs, was running some sort of puppy mill. She must have been keeping all 110 of her dogs in 1 kennel, with NO human interaction. Its been a long road for Nakaia, but each day that passes she becomes more trusting & less skiddish.
- Pet likes:
- Nakaia - loves her belly rubs, loves being with mommy & loves her kitty sisters!! She is starting to love her sister Alaska as well.
- Pet dislikes:
- Nakaia - HATES being left alone, getting groomed, crates, and anything that DOESNT include her.
- Pet’s favorite toy:
- Nakaia - loves shoes :(

My twelve year dog (German Shep/Lab mix) broke, rather shattered his hind leg. From an X-ray his vet diagnosed bone cancer. Upon insisting for a biopsy, they did a biospy and the biopsy results were negative for cancer. The break is around his akle.…
