How we met:
My pet is unique because:
Hi everyone as most of you know my first operation was a failure.

At fist the first few months it seemed as though everything went well… but now the balloon in his heart is shrinking and the pulmonary valve is almost completely closed again….

The new valve that they created my scar tissue has almost closed it, so my blood pressure is backing up again and it's high again and i'm back where i started with SEVERE PULMONIC STENOSIS AGAIN… I'm in danger of dying if i don't have this procedure repeated because my heart will again start to grow larger... or i can die of a sudden heart attack, I only have a few months to get it done & so i could live…. and go through the whole process all over again... MOMMY HAS FAITH that this operation will fix everything for good... because i'm still a baby and i have many years of life ahead of me...

Please go to my group HAVE A HEART
and join my group if you have not yet
http://www.dogster.com/group/Have_a_heart-14464

we are starting a fund raiser to help fund my operation, with wonderful things that we are raffling off to the doners. We are also selling a doggy cook book put together but pet lovers like yourself's... but if you do not want to take part of the fundraiser but still want to donate towards my operation you may do so by

calling FL UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL and do it over the phone with Credit or debit and they will send you a receipt and it is TAX DEDUCTIBLE
the number is 352- 294- 9894
the donation is for CASPER SANTOS Account number- 241807

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LET THEM KNOW MY NAME AND ACCOUNT NUMBER

or
if you like you can make a check to

FVMFA
P.O. BOX 100121
GAINESVILLE FL 32610

make sure that on the check it says that it's for
ACCOUNT NUMBER 241807 and its for CASPER SANTOS

*ANY DONATION WILL HELP IT COULD BE AS LITTLE AS 1$ ...

if you would rather buy a raffle ticket and take part in Caspers raffle and win something while still donating you may do so by checking out this thread
http://www.dogster.com/forums/groups/thread/596786

we are making a effort to raise $3000 anything that is raised over $3000 will be used for emergency hospital fee's for Casper in case GOD FORBID something goes wrong during the operation

thank you all for being so kind and supporting Casper

just by reading this you are supporting Casper by keeping him in your thoughts

---- For those who want to more know about PULMONIC STENOSIS here's some info [ Pulmonic stenosis is a congenital narrowing in the region of the pulmonary valve, which lies between the right ventricular chamber of the heart and the pulmonary artery. As part of the normal circulation of the heart, the right ventricle pumps blood to the lungs to receive oxygen. The oxygenated blood goes back to the left side of the heart from which it is pumped out to the rest of the body.
With pulmonic stenosis, there is partial obstruction of normal blood flow, most commonly due to a malformation of the pulmonic valve (pulmonic valve dysplasia), but the abnormality may be immediately above or below the valve as well.
The effect of this partial obstruction is to force the heart to work harder to pump blood to the lungs. The extent to which a dog will be affected depends on the degree of narrowing (stenosis) of the valve area. With severe stenosis, the dogs will likely develop congestive heart failure due to the increased workload of the heart. The hemodynamic consequences of pulmonic stenosis are the development of right ventricular concentric hypertrophy (enlargement) and reduced filling of the left ventricle. The right ventricular concentric hypertrophy causes reduced right ventricular compliance with reduced distensibility.
Mild to moderate stenosis can be monitored, severe needs a operation… or your pet had a life span of 6-12 months left.]

The pups are doing great. There are 2 boys and 1 girl. It was a small litter but that's ok. Here last litter was of 7. I am looking for another female to breed with my male this summer.
