- 5wks old we adopted him
around 7 months old followed son home,vet said he was abused,he is the sweetest pup.

im writing for advice please.
my 2 year old pit named ozzy his pic is on my pic.
well recently he has been very aggressive and going after me,the hands that feeds him.
im not sure what to do this is the 3rd time and i need advice,every 1 i talk too say to PUT HIM DOWN but there is something telling me that it is just something that im doing that he thinks is going to either hurt my husband or him,not sure yet.
i need advice cause i dont want to have to put him down if i dont have to.so PLEASE reach out and ask friends or family.

i have never heard of pit bulls having brain damage the only reason a pit would attack anyone or anything is because of the ignorence of its owner and how its trained if you take any big dog and treat it like some people treat pits they will attack…
btw darrell that might be smart coaching.
We were talking about that over dinner. That was unreal!! To me, it's a game, they play to win.. period. If they get injured.. so be it, they are paid to play.
My son thinks they were avoiding another team in the playoffs.. so they purposely lost.…
im here barbara,i was busy with soccer games and tournaments. i won't gloat just yet,i will wait for the right time if it comes..lol

Actully it was hardd for me to come on here today, My poor Ozzy is no longer with us. He is now in Heaven and this is so hard for me to write, im crying now it is almost a year and my feelings for him are so strong yet and idk what to say.
I love him so much he was my baby and still is and well im gonna go for now wishing every 1 has a good day.....Linda S

ok i finally got the courage to call the vet and he recommended a trainer/beha.
ok i call him tell him whats goin on,now this guy is very far from me,but he was very helpful,he gave me ideas choices,ect..
his first was for me to put ozzy down,i asked please is there another way we love him so much and want to help not hurt him,and then he was advising on this medication along with exercise and firm training he might hopefully come out of it.he did explain that since ive been i'll he see's me as the weak link in our family and he is dominating to the role of the alpha.
and he also has a training center were he (thats after he is on the meds and exercise) would be able to take ozzy for a week and to be able to tell us if he is manageable.
well i am still waiting on the call back from the vet,he called to get the permission to call the trainer,"he recommended" to see if i guess he wants to perscribe that medication..
so i guess it is wait,wait. ok have a good day be safe,linda s.
