Hey lady.....just read about your flea problem and wanted to tell you what my mom and I have found to be perfect. We moved into an apartment once that was inundated with fleas. Had the carpet cleaned, everything!! Nothing seemed to work. Had someone tell us about 20 Mule Team Borax laundry detergent. The stuff works wonders. Plus it's non toxic so your animals can be in the house and you can actually powder them down with it. Coat your furniture, your carpet, mattresses, and even your pet beds. Let it stay there for at least 24 hours then simply vacume it up. You can also sprinkle it in a line around your house to keep from bringing fleas in from outside. Works great on ants also. I buy the frontline for all my furkids at the first of spring but use the borax around the outside of the house and as a monthly carpet treatment through the worst of fleas season. Give it a shot. It's not that expensive and is sold in pretty much all grocery stores. And I can't stress this enough, it's totally NON TOXIC to your furkids so they can be around when you use it.

I agree about kindness and dignity, and the lack of it especially during transport. I would hope to see that dignity upheld, but many horse lovers would not have the ability to work that job due to the nature, and so many times people working at sla…
