here is what I got from BEST FRIENDS...like I said before I know ASPCA have saved many animals and helps many other on a daily basis...but a little more time spending on Oreo and contacting BEST FRIENDS could've saved her life!!!!!!
in their response they NEVER acknowledge that they were contacted about her AT ALL!!!!

ASPCA had an opportunity, with all the public attention to your case, to do the right, sensible, caring thing - to intervene, give a "stay of execution" and let Pets Alive try to help you have a normal, full life. Instead, they completely dropped the ball. I have no doubt their reputation will suffer for it...If there IS a Rainbow Bridge, I hope to see you there someday when I come to collect all the animal companions I have loved and lost. Whatever you do, Oreo, don't R.I.P. - dance for joy to be free of this cruel world!

I am outraged by the euthanizing today of a dog named Oreo ...as if
being thrown off a roof in Brooklyn wasn't bad enough, this dog wasn't
given the chance to live a full life, despite a rescue called Pets
Alive trying repeatedly to take her, to no avail... and now this
gorgeous dog, so deserving of another chance, had it's life snuffed
out for no good reason. It is just appalling how little compassion and
follow-through to offers of sanctuary are given by your organization
and other so-called shelters, especially with regards to pitbulls. I
intend to spread the word about ASPCA's true agenda, and will never
again donate to your "cause".

- This is such an OUTRAGE - it NEVER should have happened, but it's so typical of the "shelter" mentality, esp. with regards to pitbulls. Oreo was gorgeous and did not get the justice she deserved - we won't forget her!!! STP BSL NOW!!!
