Jesse, a 7 yr old Choc. lab.,Tucker a 3 yr old Shih tzu,Rosie a 1 yr old Shih Tzu,Blondie,Dixie,and Roxie
4 mon old Shih Tzu.
Pet likes:
Tucker loves to be doted on(true to his breed)Rosie likes to boss our 2 cats around,Jesse loves everything!
Pet dislikes:
Tucker HATES thunderstorms! Rosie dislikes being told what to do. She is so bossy! Can't say there isn't anything Jesse doesn't like.
Pet’s favorite spot:
Anywhere there r people for them all. Though Tucker's most favorite place in the world is my bed.
Pet’s favorite toy:
Rosie's fav is anything anyone else has.....lol Tucker has a stuffed kangaroo he loves, and Jesse LOVES tennis balls.
Pet’s silliest habit:
Tucker barks at the fridge for ice, Rosie herds Jesse around(10lbs vs. 75lbs) it is hilarious! Jesse curls herself up small enough to fit in the puppies bed.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
Every moment w/ them all is sweet.
I crack up when my pet:
Rosie goes after the cats for scratching on their scratching posts! She will carry on like she is balling them out for it.When Jesse gets in the puppies bed. As for Tucker, he is a pretty serious guy.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I shall give all a try. I will have to get my husband more involved. He walks Noelle in the morning and that is it for his part. He loves her more than I ever thought possible, but he leaves a lot up to me, I'm afraid. I can definitely take her out every 45 minutes or so while I am home. Should I monitor her water intake? Also, being that she is so spoiled by all of us, should I also limit her treats to the training process right now?
I have a house with an open floor plan so it would be difficult to keep her out of the dining room. I may just take up the area rug in there until she is more stable with her training. Good idea? Do you think I should move her pad to the back door?
My son says she peed in his room today. Don't know what that is about, although sometimes she slips up in an unusual area.
Forgot to mention that she also mimics my cats. Likes to sleep in high places, like tops of furniture and will sometimes follow them to the basement where there litter boxes are and go potty down there. At one point I had to put a pad down there, which she started using. I fear that I have confused her in an effort to keep my house in order!!!!!! Oh brother!!!!
Well, I started out with the wee wee pads in a confined area while she was penned. I never crated her. I hate the crates. So she had a 3x3 pen with a separate area with the pads. She then graduated to the gated kitchen. We noticed that while she was confined to the kitchen, she used her pads , but started chewing on the cabinet doors. As she got older, we allowed her to have the run of the first floor, with the exception of a few rooms. Those were kept closed. Her pads stayed in place in the kitchen/laundry area. All along she had been training outside as well. If we took her out on the leash, she would go. She definitely knows what to do on the leash. She now uses her pads and my dining room area rug. She also knows when she was bad. She will come to me with her ears down, and that face...I just know to look for something. Usually the dining room rug. When she sees the hand held steamer, she goes to her bed and puts her ears down. Next week she will be 11 months old. Any ideas? Oh, and by the way, I am not home during the day. She would probably have to go at least once while I am not there. Any advice would surely be appreciated. Thanks, di
Thank you for the add!
