I rescued her from the street when she was only 6 weeks old. She was starving and sick, and I took her in to save her from being picked up by someone that would breed her or fight her.
Pet likes:
She loves walks and chew toys, she sleeps in my bed every night. She loves tennis balls, and even basketballs, don't ask me how, but she can put a basketball in her little mouth and run around. It's a funny sight. She loves ropes and chewies and biscuits. She will eat anything, grapes, carrots, banana, anything you are offering up, she will gladly take.
Pet dislikes:
I don't think there is a single thing she dislikes other than when her mama has to leave her for a while to go to work. She gives me sad eyes when i leave. Other than that she is a wonderful playful little pup.
Pet’s favorite spot:
She loves to be under the bed, or on it. But her favorite place is outside in her big back yard. Also, in front of the heater, it' s so cold here in the winter!
Pet’s favorite toy:
Frisbee, tennis balls, basket balls, squeakers, stuffed animals she can rp the stuffing out of :)
Pet’s silliest habit:
She loves to lay in the bathroom on the rug right next to the heater :) She has such thin fur and she loves the heat blowing in her face.
Pet’s sweetest moments:
When I wake up in the middle of the night and she is cuddling me. She tucks her little head up in my neck and usually steals the pillows. She loves to hug and be close to us.
I crack up when my pet:
Runs through the snow, its deeper than she is tall and she gallops like a little horse. But she loves it!
My pet is unique because:
She is a blue pit bull, I had never seen one until I found Maisy. She is very smart and learns fast. She's a beautiful little girl!

Thanks for signing the petition :) I don't know how the law allows something like this to happen and then only give a two year sentance, maximum!? I guess they haven't figured out that serial killers start their careers by brutilizing animals? Good thing is Peanuts story has gotten a lot of media attention so I hope to see something more positive come out of it! I will keep you posted. Thanks again :)
Hi, I signed the petition "maximum penalty for the men who hacked up a puppy." I'm asking you to sign this petition to help us reach our goal of 100,000 signatures. I care deeply about this cause, and I hope you will support our efforts. Here are the basics of the case:
Hardened police officers have been shocked by the horrifying torture, mutilation and brutal slaying of a seven month old fox terrier puppy near Mackay at the weekend.
If found guilty, they could face up to two years in prison. Police have obtained video footage from a mobile phone which shows graphic images of the puppy yelping and howling in terrible pain as it hacked to pieces with garden shears and a pocked knife.
They said the owners were too distressed to talk to anyone about it.
The pups nose was cut off, its front right leg and rear left leg were cut off and it was decapitated. A three-part video series on a mobile phone shows the dog being tortured.
The maximum penalty under the Animal Care and Protection Act for such an offence is $75,000 or two years in jail; however the maximum penalty ever handed out has been a four month jail term.
WE BELIEVE THESE MEN SHOULD RECIEVE THE MAXIMUN PENALTY AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA FOR THIS SADISTIC, DISGUSTING ACT.
