Three cats (Oliver, Palo and Oz) and a dog (Siren).

How we met:

Oliver was found in the snow a few years ago outside where I used to work. He was in pretty bad shape, but my manager took him in and helped him get healthy. I took him after a few weeks and have loved him ever since! I adopted Palo from the Michigan Humane Society when he was seven weeks old. His hears were so big and he resembled a bat when he meowed (hence the name Palo, which means "bat" in Spanish...I know it's the wrong kind of "bat", but it's a cute name). When I lived in my apartment, Oz came to my door two nights in a row crying. I decided to take him in while I looked for a home for him. No one I knew wanted a cat, so he stayed with me. I moved in with my boyfriend and he felt my three cats and his dog would be too much. I compromised (although it was very difficult) and decided to find a home for Oz. He now lives with my parents and has an amazingly loving home.

Pet likes:

Palo loves to have his belly rubbed. He flops around like a fish out of water whenever he gets a good rub! Oliver likes.....food. And, he loves to cuddle with his momma! Oz has a toilet paper/paper towel fetish. I came home to a kitchen full of shredded paper towel one night. I couldn't help but laugh, and I had to capture the moment on film!

Pet dislikes:

Palo tolerates just about everything. He doesn't even mind having his teeth brushed or his nails clipped. Oliver doesn't like people (except me). Oz likes just about everything except being told get down off something.

Pet’s favorite spot:

Oliver loves to sleep on the pillow next to mine, and occasionally he curls up on my pillow around my head. He also loves to hang out under the bed. Palo loves his kitty condo and any box (no matter how big or small). Oz always loved my computer chair, but I don't know where is favorite spot is at my parents' house. I think he really enjoys his kitty condo.

Pet’s favorite toy:

Palo is obsessed with a toy called "Cat Dancer" (http://www.arcatapet.com/item.cfm?cat=1075). Although it doesn't make any noise, Palo becomes so alert any time I move his toy. It has fallen between the bed and wall a couple times, so now he always looks for his toy there. He also likes hair ties. Oliver enjoys the cat dancer sometimes, but is not overly playful. Oz enjoys laser pointers and rubber bouncy balls (he plays fetch with bouncy balls).

Pet’s silliest habit:

Palo is a flopper. He randomly flops over quite frequently. It is so funny to watch him! Oliver rarely meows, instead he makes sort of a chirping noise and whines all the time. It's very entertaining! Oz follows people around like he's a dog. He'll come trotting along any time you say, "Come here, baby Oz". So cute! He licks just about everything, too.

Pet’s sweetest moments:

Oz always slept with me when he lived with me. He would curl up next to me so I could put my arm around him and he would rest his head on my arm or hand. He also gave kisses all the time. Palo can be very affectionate when he is in the right mood, and I love it when he cuddles with me. Oliver becomes such a "momma's boy" any time another person is around besides me. He clenches on to me so tightly and hides his face in my neck. The other person (usually my boyfriend) doesn't appreciate Oliver's attitude, but I can't help but love when he buries his face into me!

I crack up when my pet:

Trots. Palo is a trotter and so is Oz. I think it's absolutely adorable and funny! I also laugh whenever Palo flops over.
