Yikes! It's 50° Today!
That's the temperature at my house. Down in town it's a little cooler, but holy moly FIFTY FREAKING DEGREES! That's SOOOOO WARM!! Snow is dripping and melting like mad. The roads are wet, instead of icy, but they'll be icy again soon enough and extremely slick as soon as all this water freezes tonight. Won't that be fun----NOT.
The Iditarod mushers are having a terrible time with the heat. Just so you know, it's supposed to be 20 BELOW zero right now, not 50 ABOVE! This is not exactly ideal weather for dog mushing. This is the week for the International Ice Art Championships, too. We have a huge park where people from all over the world come to carve giant ice carvings. It's not going to amount to much if the temperatures don't come down, dang it!
Plus no more pretty snow dog pictures, too, if things keep going the way they are. But I'm betting we get more winter again before another two weeks go by. We'll see.

It makes him laugh. When it's 0° and it has been -40 we go outside in a T-shirt. Granted. We don't stay outside for long that way, but you get the point.
