I wish PR was like the US

Sometimes I do. At least in the U.S. you don't really see animals as road kill on the streets all the time. I hate the fact that people don't care about animals here. I can't even count the times I've seen people walking by and beating dogs with sticks. By experience, because my dog gets beaten all the time, either with sticks, rocks or cars running him over. It's not right. I really wish cruelty towards animals would stop. What fault do they have of anything?

And yes, I am from Puerto Rico, the place where the "animal shelter people" (the ones that are supposed to take care of your animals) threw those hopeless animals over a bridge to their deaths...You have no idea how ashamed I am of saying that this is where I live...

Hi Sophia, how are you doing? I just read your blog and it's really sad the ignorance of people where you live and how they treat dogs and other animals. I've been to PR once in the 90's, and had no idea what the reality is about concerning animals. Take care, Diana
